Shikanosuke Yamanaka is a character in the Samurai Warriors series. He is a young Amago general famous for his impressive courage and attractive looks.
He was voiced by Yohei Akazami.
Biography[]
As the pretty boy with warriorship, Shikanosuke will defending Gassantoda's mountain routes when he is misguide Mitsuhide Akechi and Toshimitsu Saitō for goons of the Mori and attacking them. He was very ridiculous which the misunderstand is cut off, manifest to fine and makes his new friends with Katsuhisa Amago. Soon away, Motonari's greatest strategy overbearing and the battle-weary the Amago forces, causing Katsuhisa surrendered to the Mōri although the latest reinforcements. Shikanosuke need to wander to seeks his own opinions if want to reborn the Amago clan in future.
Right in then, Mitsuhide relent with Shikanosuke's personal failing thwarts and allowed him to joined his returns to Echizen and becoming stronger. He later following the Asakura reinforcements of Kenshin Uesugi at Kawanakajima. However, due to have finding the justice and virtues with his adherence, Kenshin intending to inspired both Mitsuhide and Shikanosuke to discovered the reason in which they could devoted themselves for it too. Upon Nobunaga invasion of Omi, Shikanosuke then formed with Mitsuhide to prevented the terrible invasion and ended up joined the Oda together with his friends.
He also became a member of the Oda even when is proposed to attacked the Amago's former castle, the Mōri-held Gassantoda castle. After Nobunaga followed Mitsuki and Mitsuhide's adventures, Shikanosuke found Katsuhisa, now a lived in Kyoto, which many of Amago retainers are fleeing. With the Mori family's wisdom takes a victory, which led on Shikanosuke and all the retainers are being caught. Despite Motonari originally to convinced him to submit, Shikanosuke must be ignored and hurry escaping Odaka Castle with the other capturing of Amago warriors.
But upon Shikanosuke reunited with Mitsuki and Mitsuhide, his crossed away to Tanba with ordinance. He immediately noticed that Mitsuhide had grown much frosty during his imprisonment, but Shikanosuke pay attention that his friend had also become mostly of stronger and closer to his own goals of the region's domination. Inquiry, he should continued to supporting Mitsuhide are finished at Shigisan Castle. Mitsuhide's worry of Mitsuki forcing Shikanosuke to watched his friend's heart was still present below. At the Kozuki Castle, he rejoined his lord to ambushed the Mori after Nagaharu Bassho defected and Nobunaga ordered his forces to give up the Kozuki Castle and heading for Harima.
Don't betrayed his lord, Shikanosuke seal off the escaped point since his allies leaving and hoping to reformed with them. Tried to save Katsuhisa again, he naught as the Mori's endless waves are too much for his lord. During the final battle, Shikanosuke fights Motonari under of his courageously. Upon mortally wounded him with his swords, he gets shoot down from behind by the daimyo's men. After the deaths of Shikanosuke and Motonari, Mitsuki is setback to leaving the Oda and Mitsuhide's internal hesitation emerge about that his friend's legacy.
