Shintaro Kisaragi is the seventh member of the Mekakushi Dan as well as the main protagonist of Kagerou Project. He became a shut-in after all three of his friends died on the same day. He is also Momo Kisaragi's older brother.
He is voiced by Takuma Terashima.
Appearance[]
Shintaro has short black hair which ends at his neck and his eyes are narrow, black and have epicanthal folds.
He wears a red track jacket with white stripes on the sleeves over a black V-neck shirt, along with brown pants. In the short film, he wears the same jacket, though instead of a black shirt he is wearing a white shirt with the number 7 on it.
Personality[]
Shintaro is a smart young man with an IQ of 168. He finds everything in the world predictable and obvious, leading to his apathetic personality. In middle school, he showed signs of depression and was arrogant. Despite his personality, Ayano states he actually likes shoujo manga.
After losing all 3 of his friends on the same day, he drops out of school and shuts himself away from the world, blaming himself primarily for Ayano's death. After 2 years of being a shut-in, he becomes addicted to the computer, stating he would die without it.
In the present day, he is very fidgety and is scared easily. Despite this, he can show courage when needed and even put his life on the line for people he cares about. He easily befriends the Mekakushi Dan, and even shows sympathy towards Hibiya.
Ability[]
Shintaro possesses the Snake of Retaining Eyes, which allows him to remember everything he has ever seen, including past timelines. He was given this ability in manga route 2 after promising to never forget the tragedy.
