Shiverians are a minor race of peaceful seal-people that appear Super Mario Odyssey. They inhabit the underground town of Shiveria in the Snow Kingdom that is known for making cakes and their special race called the Bound Bowl Grand Prix.
The Shiverians are big and well-rounded seals that move on two feet. They have standard white fur and a slightly tanned snout with four small black whiskers. The bodies are very round and appear to attach immediately to the head without a neck. Their legs are very small showing only their feet whereas the arms are much longer, both the arms and legs have sharp grey nails. The eyes are black and small compared to the rest of the body.
They wear traditionally Inuit-styled parkas, that are for the most part white except for the area around the belly and wrists which is red, blue, and black. This has numerous small snowflake-like shapes on it.
The racers don’t wear parkas, but instead wear simple woolly hats and pants whose color differs from each racer.
Personality[]
The Shiverians appear to be quiet but sociable, yet also a bit aloof. They talk in simple terms with them often speaking in an object-subject-verb type of way.
Despite their timid nature, they have a lot of love for sports. Hosting a race called the Bound Bowl Grand Prix, which allows them to energetically compete with one another.
Just like the other friendly inhabitants in the game, they help out Mario by giving him simple hints.
