~ Shou Hei Kun to the Generals of Qin.

Shou Hei Kun is a central and major supporting character in the popular historical seinen manga and anime series, Kingdom. He is the state of Qin's Head of Military Affairs, Chancellor of the Right within in the Qin courts, he also considered one of the greatest strategist in China being recognized as the best in Qin.

With his capacity and importance Head of Military Affairs, Shou Hei Kun taught and instructed the likes of his nephews Mou Ten and Mou Ki, and Ka Ryo Ten in the ways of strategical warfare as they would go on to become some of Qin's best strategists.

Appearance

Describe by Yasuhisa Hara, the mangaka of Kingdom, as very good looking, Shou Hei Kun is of a average height but with a warrior's build underneath his fashionable court robes. He has long jet black hair that he ties in a ponytail and a short goatee.

Biography

Early Life

Born as a prince of the superstate, Chu, Shou Hei Kun or Hei Kun as he was known in his youth was sent to the enemy state of Qin as a political hostage at a young age where he was accepted and adopted into the Mou family after being abandoned by his state. During this period, he got to know his new family as he quickly became fast friend with the oldest siblings Mou Bu and Mou Aki.

One could say his martial prowess is even on the same level as sir Mou Bu and at the least, it cannot be denied that his intellect is on par with Ri Boku. The very thought gives you goosebumps, does it not?

  • Its currently unknown if Shou Hei Kun is married or in a relationship or if he even has children.
  • Shou Hei Kun was one of the first characters in the series to recognized Shin's budding talent after looking into the young man's history.
  • Shou Hei Kun is in his Late 30s to early 40s.
  • Shou Hei Kun's second older brother is an incredibly depraved pervert infamous throughout the courts of Chu.
