Shousuke Komi is a supporting character in the Japanese romance comedy anime and manga series, Komi Can't Communicate. He is the younger brother of Shouko Komi, one of the main protagonists of the series, the son of Masayoshi Komi and Shuuko Komi, the cousin of Akira Komi, the grandson of Yuiko Komi, and the nephew of Sadayoshi Komi and Ryouko Komi. He has his own side romance going on with Hitomi Tadano, Hitohito Tadano's younger sister.

He was voiced by Junya Enoki in Japanese and Jack Dillon in English.

Personality

Shosuke Komi's personality seems very similar to his elder sister's on the surface. He doesn't speak a lot and that would lead people to believe that he has similar communication issues; however, in reality, he is able to communicate with others, but chooses not to. He desires to spend his time alone. He seems to consider it a bother to hang around others. Despite this however, he ends up forming a strange friendship with Hitomi Tadano; or rather, she forms a strange friendship with him, in a humorously forceful way. It's not entirely clear how exactly he feels about her, but either way he can't summon the energy to deny her, so he just goes along with whatever she wants, allowing her to drag him around to her whims. He was very attractive and because of this is the object of the affection of many women who look at him, but he really couldn't care less.
