Shuuya Kano is a main character from Kagerou Project and is the third member of the Mekakushi Dan. In most routes, he works for the Snake of Clearing eyes.
He is voiced by Shinnosuke Tachibana in the present day, and is voiced by Yuki Kaida as a child.
Appearance[]
Kano has short blonde hair which is longer on the right fringe and he has cat or fox-like yellow eyes. He wears a reversible short sleeved hoodie which has no zippers that is white on the inside and reaches far below his hips. The inside and outside of the hood has three circles, the inside being black and the outside being white. He wears a cut collared beige shirt which is tucked in and a black belt over blue jeans which are tucked into his black shoes.
Personality[]
On the outside, Kano is rather laid back and he tends to smile all the time. He likes to tease and can be a flirt, but when it counts he's very reliable.
His true personality is much different, and is hidden most of the time. Deep down, he is a cynical, mature and depressed person. When his sister Ayano had died, the Snake of Clearing Eyes forced him to follow his commands, or else he will murder everyone Kano loves.
Abilities[]
Kano holds the Snake of Deceiving Eyes, which he can use to change people's perception of himself, making him seem, sound and feel different than he actually is. However, he can only use this ability on himself.

- His favorite prefecture is the Saga Prefecture.
- His blood type is B.
- His definition of a friend is "Something that will never change."
- Despite Kido being the leader of the Dan, Kano is the one who actually plays the role of a leader.
- When Kano, Kido and Seto were children, Kano was the tallest of them. Compare to the present day where Kano is the shortest of the three.
- Other than Kenjirou, Ene and Konoha, whose abilities automatically worked, Kano was the quickest to learn how to control his eye ability.
- He easily gets motion sick, and has poor balance.
- Kano gets flustered easily, and has trouble filtering the emotions he shows. This is why he rarely truly smiles.
