King Simba (simply known as Simba) is the main protagonist of the 2019 film The Lion King, a remake of the 1994 animated classic film. He is based off his original incarnation with the same name.

Simba doesn't believe Scar's story and tells him he departs the Pride Lands forever instead. In answer, Scar assaults Simba, and the two of them fight. Simba overpowers Scar and heaves him from Pride Rock.
With Scar no longer alive, Simba takes his place as the king of Pride Rock. The kingdom returns to its former glory soon enough, and Simba presents his newborn son to the Pride Landers.
