The Lion King II: Simba's Pride[]
"I banished you from the Pride Lands. Now, you and your young cub, GET OUT!"

Simba growls at Kovu for leading him to Zira's ambush, ignoring Kovu's plea that he never intended to do such a thing.

"When you first came here, you asked for judgement, and I pass it now! EXILE!" Simba’s second breakdown, banishing Kovu from the Pride Lands for his supposed "betrayal" despite the younger lion truthfully telling him he had nothing to do with Zira's attack.
"You will not leave Pride Rock. You will stay where I can keep an eye on you, away from him." - Simba revealing his true nature at his daughter Kiara for banishing Kovu and forbids her from leaving Pride Rock alone to see Kovu.
Simba angrily tries to justify his actions by saying that he must follow in Mufasa's pawprints (unaware that Mufasa wanted Kiara and Kovu to be together and he was ironically going against his wishes and instead "following" his uncle's pawprints).
Simba after Kiara tells him that he will never be Mufasa and ultimately makes him realize that he was actually going against his father's wishes (and was more than likely doing what his uncle would’ve done), and in doing so, has broken the Circle of Life.
Simba and his pride prepare to battle Zira and the Outsiders.
"Let it go, Zira. It's time to put the past behind us." Simba offering Zira a chance to join his pride and redeem herself.
