~ Flowey being betrayed by the six human souls. |
The Six Humans are the overarching protagonists of the 2015 indie role-playing game Undertale.
They appear as spirits in the game itself. These characters have fallen into the subterranean realm of the monsters, and their souls were taken by Asgore Dreemurr so the latter could continue his plan to avenge his son Asriel Dreemurr and his adopted child Chara (who killed themself by eating buttercups so that Asriel could absorb their soul and take six human souls from the surface). As does the protagonist, Frisk, the six humans have a heart-shaped soul that contains their essence and is a certain color. These colors are green, yellow, blue, purple, orange and cyan. Frisk first meets them in the game before they and Asgore fight, where all six of them are trapped in bottles.
Personality[]
The cyan soul is patient, as their color is associated with the light blue attacks, which do not deal damage to those who stand still. When Frisk calls for help in the Photoshop Flowey battle, they turn Flowey's spinning knives into bandages that heal. They are associated with the Toy Knife and the Faded Ribbon. It is possible that the cyan soul was clumsy, as they lost their faded ribbon, as said in the demo's manual.
The orange soul is brave. When they receive Frisk's call for help in the Photoshop Flowey battle, they turns Flowey's spinning gloves into Thumbs Ups that heal. Their color is associated with orange attacks, which inflict damage to stationary characters. Their respective weapons are the Tough Glove, and they use the Manly Bandanna for defense.
The blue soul has integrity. Their personal hobby is dancing. During the Photoshop Flowey fight, Their Soul attack involves stars restricting Frisk's movement as they try to dodge ballet shoes. However, when they hear Frisk's call for help, they turns Flowey's stars into musical notes that heal. Their respective weapons are the Ballet Shoes, and they have the Old Tutu for armor.
The purple soul represents perseverance. They show this through their analytic skills and is the smartest soul. Their soul attack in the Photoshop Flowey fight involves books firing negative words. When Frisk cries for help, the purple soul sends out positive words that heal. Their weapon is the Torn Notebook, while their defensive item is the Cloudy Glasses.
The green soul is kind. Their talent seems to be cooking, though they are also associated with shielding. While Photoshop Flowey has their soul trapped within his grip, frying pans may appear and flip burning coals that must be dodged. When Frisk calls for help, the soul sends out eggs that heal. Their respective weapons are the Burnt Pan, and they have the Stained Apron for defense.
The yellow soul is justice. They like firearms, as seen in their soul attack during the Photoshop Flowey fight. Upon their liberation, the soul will place clovers into the field to heal Frisk. Their respective weapon and defense are the Empty Gun and Cowboy Hat.
