The Skylanders are the main protagonists of the Skylanders game franchise. They are the defenders of Skylands and were banished to Earth by their archenemy, Kaos but returned with the help of a new Portal Master.
History
For generations, many of the Skylanders protected their homeworld, preserving peace and balance.
Eventually, the evil wizard Kaos and his forces overran the Skylanders' world and banished most of them to Earth after defeating them. The remaining Skylanders made their way to Earth by other means, such as traveling through dimensional portals in search of their allies.
Overtime, the Skylanders lost their source of magical power, and eventually transformed into inanimate figures. They eventually returned to their homeward through the means of a Portal of Power, and began fighting back Kaos's forces to take back the land they were fighting for.
