The Wikipedia page describes Sokka is condescending and he is the only member of Team Avatar who is a non-bender. It is also implied that Sokka hits Katara when she accidentally gets him wet, she covers herself. He also uses his boomerang as a hammer as opposed to an actual boomerang.
