An dying soldier convincing Link to get in the Temple of Time

Unnngh...are you the boy from the forest...? I-I-I have something to t-t-tell you... Ganondorf, the Gerudo King of Thieves, betrayed our King... Zelda's nanny, Impa, sensed danger and escaped from the castle with our Princess... I tried to stop Ganondorf's men from chasing them... But the Princess was... waiting for a boy from the forest... that's you... She wanted to give something to the boy... If you received it from the Princess, hurry... to the Temple of Time....

The Soldier in the Back Alley is the unnamed minor protagonist featured in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, its sequel Master Quest, as well in the 3D remake.

He is one of the only persons who recognized Link as "Forest Boy", he was seen dying from his wounds after trying to stop Ganondorf and his men from chasing both Zelda and Impa of the Hyrule Castle.

Link has found three Spiritual Stones and Ocarina of Time that Zelda throws it in the water, Link takes the Ocarina and learns The Song of Time.

Link then goes to the Back Alley saw an dying soldier, he encounters him by recognizing him from Zelda's descriptions as "The Forest Boy", he orders Link to go to the Temple of Time before he passes away, if Link talks to him, Navi informs him "He's not moving anymore."

Link goes to Temple of Time to open The Door of Time, puts the three Spiritual Stones, then gets the Master Sword in order to avenge the Soldier who died from mortal wounds.

Link manages to get the Six Sages, defeats Ganondorf, avenging the Soldier, then Link returns to his childhood to find a precious friend. In Ocarina of Time and Master Quest version, the soldier has passed away, the Soldier in the 3D remake died from the same fate.
