Solus Prime

Solus Prime was an original Thirteen, one of the Primes who was created by the Cybertronian god, Primus. She was the blacksmith of the Primes, known for create many of the ancient weapons and relics, as the Forge of Solus Prime, throughout the Transformers universe. She was a powerful female figure in Cybertronian history, and served as the mighty blacksmith for the Thirteen.

Solus was the master craftswoman among the Primes, where she used her Forge to create weapons which were then wielded by her fellow Primes. Her notable creations include the Requiem Blaster and the Enigma of Combination. She also used to have a close, loving relationship with Megatronus Prime, who was the strongest of the Primes. This relationship, however, ended tragically when he fell to darkness, during a conflict within the Thirteen, and she accidentally was killer by him with her own forge.

History[]

Solus was the first female Transformer, the first daughter of Primus, and the only female Prime among the Thirteen. She using her powerful Forge to create numerous powerful weapons and relics essential to fight the chaos in the war against Unicron. She found joy in creation, which was why she's particularly close friends with Nexus Prime, Micronus Prime, and Onyx Prime who reveled in similar pursuits. She was the ex-lover of Megatronus Prime before he became The Fallen.

Her story is central to Cybertronian mythology, and her tragic death at the hands of Megatronus marked a pivotal and destructive moment in the nascent history of the Primes. Her template serving as the pattern for all future Cybertronian femmes.

In The Covenant of Primus at the beginning of time, Solus Prime was the only female Prime. Whose legends tell of her forging of the legendary Forge of Solus to craft powerful artifacts, weapons like the Star Saber and Requiem Blaster, which were kept hidden on Earth before being discovered by the Decepticons and then recovered by the Autobots.

Prime Wars Trilogy cartoons[]

In the Prime Wars Trilogy continuity (specifically Power of the Primes), Solus Prime is the artificer and blacksmith who created the Forge. Voiced by Jaime King in the series, she is a key figure who was accidentally killed by Megatronus and later sacrificed her spirit to help defeat him.

War for Cybertron Trilogy[]

In War for Cybertron Trilogy marketing, Solus Prime is linked to Orthia through the concept of creation power, as Elita-One's team combines their sparks to form Orthia, who then inherits the ability to forge powerful weapons from Solus' legacy.

Transformers One[]

In the events of the Transformers One origin movie, Solus although not is directly mentioned by name, was one of the first Primes to fight alongside her siblings against the Quintessons, where they were ultimately killed by Sentinel's betrayal. Her spirit seemingly blesses Orion Pax when he becomes Optimus Prime.
