Sora Harewataru is the titular main protagonist of the 2023 magical girl anime and manga series Hirogaru Sky! Pretty Cure.
She is also is a minor character in Delicious Party♡Pretty Cure and a cameo character in Wonderful Pretty Cure!.
She is the group leader and her cure identity is Cure Sky, the Pretty Cure of the skies.
She is voiced by Akira Sekine in Japanese.
Appearance[]
Sora takes on the appearance of young teenage girl with blue hair with ponytail and blue eyes. She wears her hair in a side ponytail with a yellow ribbon.
As Cure Sky, Sora's hair gets longer and gains pink tones. It is then styled into long twin tails with winged accessories.
Personality[]
Sora is a brave and courageous girl, aspiring to become a hero, much like the person who saved her during her youth. She continuously trains in Skyland to live up to her dream. Due to growing up in Skyland, Sora is unfamiliar with modern technology of Earth such as TVs and cars. She likes to say "It's Hero Time".
Sora has also shown a great deal of care for her close ones, becoming afraid for Mashiro getting hurt during the battles against the Underg Empire. Although rare, Sora would give off a frightening disposition towards those who would bring harm to the ones she cares for such as when she intimidated Battamonda when he was closing in on the terrified Ellee-chan.
Sora has a habit of answering questions honestly which in turn makes it hard to keep her origins a secret from outsiders. This made it difficult for her during her first day at Sorashido academy. She also fears that standing out too much would prevent her from making friends with her peers.
Powers and Abilities[]
Acrobatic ability: Even in civilian form, Sora is capable of moving through Sky Land from roof tops, even outrunning the fleeing Kabaton.
superhuman physical ability: Due to her extensive training in Skyland, Sora's physical prowess is beyond that of the humans her age or normal people in general. This in turn enabled Sora to break school records even though she was aiming for average results.
When transformed into Cure Sky, Sora's physical capabilities were enhanced to engage in combat with the Lanborg, monsters of the Underg Empire.
Purification: In her Cure form, Sora can deliver a power infused punch that can purify the monsters created by the Underg Empire. When combining her power with Cure Prism, she can deliver a stronger force to purify the Ranborg.

- Sora is the first lead Cure whose theme color is blue, and isn't originally from Japan.
- She is also the third lead Cure whose theme color is not pink, with the first two being Nagisa Misumi and Manatsu Natsuumi.
- Sora's catchphrase is the same as Ben Tennyson's catchphrase from Ben 10.
- Sora and Elle stay at Mashiro's place during their stay on earth.
- Cure Sky's appearance bears resemblance to Blue Angel from Yu-Gi-Oh! VRAINS.
- Sora shares similarities with Hikaru Hoshina from Star Twinkle! Pretty Cure.
- Both have twin tails in their Cure forms.
