Sora Takenouchi is the tritagonist of the Digimon Adventure franchise. She is best friends with Tai and is also friends with Mimi. She has the Crest of Love. Her partner digimon is Biyomon.
In the English version, she is voiced by Colleen O'Shaughnessey in the English version of the Digimon Adventure series and returned to reprise her role in Digimon Adventure tri. & Digimon Adventure: Last Evolution Kizuna.
In the Japanese Version, she was voiced by late Yuko Mizutani, later voiced by Suzuko Mimori in Digimon Adventure tri. and returned to reprise her role for Digimon Adventure: Last Evolution Kizuna.
Personality[]
Sora is feisty, tomboyish, cheerful, courageous, kind, wise, and jolly. She is a mother-figure of the Digi-Destined. As she felt obligated to be a pillar of maternal strength, she would avoid sharing her own inner struggles, which eventually burst out as frustrated complaints; she gradually learned how to express herself without repressing her feelings, nor being angry.

- Sora's Original Japanese voice actress, the late Yuko Mizutani also voices Minnie Mouse in the Japanese dub of Mickey Mouse cartoons and Mihoshi Kuramitsu in most of the Tenchi Muyo productions prior to her death.

- In Adventure 02, she is dating Matt, despite the fact that in the first season, they never really had any heart-to-hearts together, and she seemed the least close to him out of the group, due to his isolated nature and the time he abandoned the team. This caused a lot of conflict among the Digimon fanbase as they expected that Sora ended up with Tai due to them interacting with each other several times throughout the first season. Some other continuations of Digimon appear to discard this idea of their relationship, seeming like it never happened, while 02 has them married at the end.
- Sora is 11 years old in Digimon Adventure, 14 years old in Digimon Adventure 02 and 17 years old in Digimon Adventure tri. and 22 years old in Digimon Adventure: Last Evolution Kizuna.
- Sora's personality is very similar to Princess Daisy from the Super Mario franchise.
