Sergei Medvedev is a major character in the Spawn univesre appearing as the second soul crusher.
Unlike his predecessor he wants to do good and teams up with the scorched.
History[]
Serigei grew up as an orphan alongisde Natasha and Odelia the former and he were rasied by the original soul crusher who later became a foe for spawn. After Soul Crusher takes back Sergei and Natasha Serigei fed up with his abuse kills him and takes on the soul crusher idenity for himself. Serigei and Natasha would later meet up with the scorched team and tell them all that he knows. Spawn weary of Soul Crusher interrogates him alongside the others to explain but the sin-devourers attacked them and they fight it out. After the first sin-devourer model attacked Sergei was taken into limbo where spawn forced a training regime on him while natasha was kidnapped by plague spawn and later witness her death sergei went mad and killed any demon he comed across.
Sergei fights Medevial for killing natasha but he calms down aftet Medevial explained that Plague manage to escape by using her as a decoy. Medevial and Serigei later go on to help the scorched team agains the curse who was the creator of the sin-devourers. Later Medevial and Sergei team up again to locate the scorched team who had just recruited Freak against Mandarin Spawn. Medevial goes to fight the angels in the potral while sergei was forced to defend himself against Margaret Love and her lover necro cop two foes who spawn killed in the past who came back to life.
Sergei manages to put a tracker on Margaret and later rejoins medevial spawn back to hq where Gunslinger decides to quit.
