Spades Slick is the primary protagonist of the first intermission in the popular webcomic Homestuck. He is the leader of the mob gang known as the Midnight crew. During the intermission, the Midnight Crew was in the progress of executing a heist to a rival gang called the Felt at their mansion. Later on its revealed that the Midnight Crew were four exiles of the kingdom of Derse, with Spades Slick being the Trolls version of Jack Noir.
Personality
Slick is very black and white in his judgements, and quickly makes decisions with little to no forethought. His reactions to given commands are of swift and clear certainty. He will do the things he says he will do, or he will quickly end whatever he doesn't want to do. Additionally, Slick tends to call out the reader when they try to make him do various stupid things (such as capturing a clock, whilst the Midnight Crew uses an Inventory system instead). He is also shown to have an interest in Snowman, the only female member of the Felt. Furthermore, he hates clocks to no end, like the rest of the Midnight Crew (with the sole exception of Clubs Deuce).
Abilities/Powers
Before Homestuck was created, he was introduced as a donated character in a bonus chapter of the creators previous comic Problem Sleuth, and was shown using black magic. However in Homestuck, he does not seem to use any magic. After he became a cyborg, he has super-strength, and flying.
In Homestuck he notably has excellent skill with weapons, and his inventory suffers from Object/Weapon duality, which causes his items (and war chest) to randomly shift between the actual item or a playing card.
