Speckles the Tarbosaurus 2: The New Paradise[]
Jr. was chased by a Tsintaosaurus, but Speckles shows up and kills the Tsintaosaurus. Speckles then scolds his son about how he was not acting like a Tarbosaurus. Jr. also failed hunting a herd of Protoceratops the following day, which ended up by knocking him into the water. He cried for help because he can't swim despite shallow water (this is all because of One-Eye knocking him to the ocean in the first film) this makes his father disappointed. Even though he didn't to mean misbehave, Speckle is not as forgiving as he should've been so he over-reacts and lambasts his son by saying that he doesn't deserve to be a tarbosaur and is a disgrace for his inability to conquer his own fears. Jr. is greatly offended by his fathers comments and tells Speckle that he hates him before the pair storm off from one another.
Later that night, Jr. is seen resting in his nest and having flashbacks about the death of his mother, Blue-Eyes, meanwhile Speckles is also thinking about if Blue-Eyes is alive and how he is going to teach his son. Speckle also expresses remorse for lashing out at Jr. earlier. Later that night Speckles finds Jr. in his nest tells his son that the world is full of dangers, but wonders as well.
The next day, Jr. tries to hunt a Pachycephalosaurus, but was ambushed by a pack of Deinonychus. He cried out for his father for aid, but the raptors abduct him and flee, some of them knocks him into a river as he continues to chasing them. Speckles continues following, but a rainstorm washes their tracks away.
Jr. later finds himself in the Deinonychus' compound where they imprisons young dinosaurs they kidnapned. He was then bullied by a young Therizinosaurus called Slash, but then he was interrupted by Blue, a young female Tarbosaurus and Blade, a young Carnotaurus. At the compound, Jr. befriends with Blue, Blade and Dusty, a young Monoclonius; who was hiding in a small cave where the Deinonychus craps.
Jr. later witnessed Ditto, one of the Deinonychus kidnap Dusty. later at the feeding time Junior reveals that the young dinosaurs are going to be sacrificed by the young dinosaurs to a monster that gives the young dinosaurs to it's offspring as toys to play with and eats them when they get bored playing with them from a Dsungaripterus; who works for the Deinonychus pack.
That night, Jr., Blue and Blade decide to escape by distracting the Deinonychus, but they were then ambushed by the three Deinonychus leader and Slash; who reveals the escape plan to the leaders for exchange of sparing his life; making Speckles and Blue to be kidnapped again, but Blade was successfully escaped from the Deinonychus' clutches.
Jr., Blue and Blade escapes from the compound after the Dsungaripterus tells them that the volcano is erupting, when Slash and two Deinonychus leaders corners the trio on a landbridge with rising lava beneath. While the blue leader was about to finish Blade, Jr. and Blue rushes up and knocks him over. The blue leader grabs the red leader's tail while the red leader is grabbing Slash; who was about to fall into the lava pit. Their combined weight causes Slash's claw to break off, falling them three to their demise.
Afterwards, Jr., Blue and Blade head for the Volcano to rescue Dusty. When they get to the river Jr. briefly hesitates as he recalls being washed out to sea when he is younger. However, Jr. then recalls the advice his father gave him during his first hunt. This gives Jr. the courage to jump into the river and overcome his phobia. When the trio arrive at the cave where they find Dusty being chased by the beasts three children. Jr. risks his life be selflessly luring the iguanas away. However, when Speck's Fang and Cy arrive, Speckles overlooks Jr.'s accomplishments and once again express his strict attitude towards Jr. when demanding the latter why he didn't fight back when the beasts sons were chasing him.
This causes a distraught Jr. to accuse Speckles for never believing in him before he storms off. As Jr. departs, Blue scolds Speckles for taking Jr. for granted by explaining that Jr. was luring the beasts away from Dusty; who confirms Blue's claims. Speckles then sees the error of his ways, but the dinosaurs then confronted by the beast when the latter appears out of nowhere. Jr. followers his father and the rest of the group, but is struggle to out-run the beast. Speckles tries to come out his hiding spot to assist his son, but he is stopped by the others as it's too dangerous for him. Fortunately, Jr. is able to reunite with the rest of the group.
While the group is trying to escape from the volcano, Jr. sacrifices himself by allow the beast to hit him in order to give his father and their allies more time to escape. When Jr. is seemingly dead, everyone mourns for him before he finally regains consciousness. Speckles apologies to his son for his actions/behavior and informs Jr. that he is proud to have the latter as his son. Outside the volcano, the dinosaurs find a lush landscape and decide to make it their new home. After Cy bids the group farewell, Jr., Blade, Blue and Dusty decide to play and Junior calls out to Dsunga who is seen flying.
