The Specky Woods Campers are the main protagonists of the 2019 Roblox horror game Camping, the first installment of the series of the same name. They're a group of campers consists around 11 members (including one being a secret murderer), on a camping trip to Specky Woods.

Biography

Camping

Day One

At some point, 11 campers take on a camping trip to Specky Woods. But unbeknownst to them, a murderer in disguise as a camper, accompanies them. Upon arriving at the campsite, they explore their ways to get a clear view of it. There, they can find various items being put around the attraction, even interacting with a small Frog namely Bob.

After getting to know their surroundings, the campers regrouped during the nights around the camp, speaking and telling stories around the fire together. Suddenly, they're interrupted by a strange monster who give them a mutated smile, scaring the group to make a run to the cave. During their hidings, a sound of some animal getting killed then is heard, before the night return into its normal rainy night. The first night ends and the second day arrives.

Day Two

The campers return to their campsite only to find the red tent have collapsed from impact, with one tent can't fit them all, the campers must sleep in the cave tonight. Looking around, two park rangers could be seen observing a dead deer. They will tell you that they be placing bear traps in order to prevent the bears from attacking local campers. Later that night, the campers take shelter inside the cave due to inconveniences, but then all of them figured out that they have left the food basket outside at the camp.

One of the campers decided to take on the role to relocate the basket; while returning, they get a sight at the son, pulling down the well. Everyone shares the sandwiches with one another, but one of them was poisoned and results in one of the campers' deaths. The cave collapsed from an earthquake, forcing all of the remaining campers to escape the cave through a passageway that leads to two entrances. Down the entrance, two ways will be open for the campers as an exit attempt. Led down a short corridor to a lowered room, a closed stone door could be seen in front. Once all the campers reach the bottom, the door opens, and their escape begins.

Day Three

After escaping the cave, the remaining campers now have reached to the final day at the campsite. They discovered inside the blue tent was titled with a text in blood, "I'M STILL ALIVE" written on the tent cover. The bear trap is seen to be having some black limb attached to it, soon, the sky fades into the night.

During nightfall, one of the campers was kidnapped from the group. This concerns the others as they decided to lurk around to see if they can find the missing person. They managed to find the missing camper and freed them, followed with the rains now starting to drop. After a while, a mysterious fog appears and approach the campers, marking theirs last stand as they climb up the pillar. Depending on the remaining survivors from every event of the game, the fate of the campers will go out in three ways.

Fate

The three remaining campers stood helplessly facing The Son, who now approached them slowly. The sun rise to it dawn, forcing The Son down to the blank. The campers express their anger and confusions over the identity actions, thrashing over the creature. The identity told the entire group that it was only trying to help, revealing the truth that one of them was the real murderer behind every event that happened throughout the trip instead of what they thought to be. The two other survivors turned back, now confronting the true murderer behind it all. The murderer then presumably kills the two other survivors.

Trivia

• A line in the second installment Camping 2 confirmed that the campers in that game are not the campers from the first game, but a whole entirely different group.
• Despite playing a major role in Camping, they have a little much nothing to do with the entire franchise itself.
• Out of all of the campers in the franchise, the Specky Wood Campers are the only campers to not have a strong relationship with Daniel as they only met him when he and Steve added bear traps into Specky Woods.
• Though the only confirmed kill is through the poisoned sandwich, the ending cutscene canonically confirmed that only 3 out of 12 campers survived, at least before they were killed by the murderer.
• Many fans assumed that Hotel is supposed to be what happened to the group before Camping takes place, but this created a plot hole as the canon Ending for Hotel has only one survivor.
