~ Spider-Man to Kang The Conqueror

Peter Benjamin Parker better known as Spider-Man, is a spider-themed superhero and member of the Avengers from TV Series "The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes". He was mainly based on his Ultimate Universe Version and as well as his main one.

He is a 17 years old super hero, that appears for the first time in "Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes Vol 3 no. 4" as Peter Parker and in "Along Came a Spider..." episode as Spider-Man.

He is voiced by Drake Bell instead of Josh Keaton.

History[]

Early Life[]

Peter's life before the events of the series are unknown, although it can be assumed that he followed the same path as another version of the character. Being bitten by a radioactive spider which would give him his spider-like powers and dedicating his life to fighting crime after the death of his uncle Ben Parker.

At some point in his life Peter worked as a photographer and web designer for the Daily Bugle, a periodicity whose main motive was to defame him. Working for Jonah Jameson and working alongside Betty Brant. Peter would have many adventures, and facing many enemies of his own while being nicknamed by the city as a menace due to the lies that the Daily Bugle told about him. At some point in his life, Peter would take a photo of the Avengers at the request of Janet Van Dyne (also known as Wasp).

Meeting The Avengers[]

The Interview[]

Years later, during one of his many jobs at the Daily Bugle, Peter would meet Tony Stark, who was trying to clear the name of Captain America, (which had been stained by a Skrull)

Following the events of Secret Invasion, Peter would be assigned by J. Jonah Jameson to take pictures while Betty Brant interviewed Captain America. Briefly meeting Hawkeye in the process, who would reprimand Peter due to his young age, to which Peter would complain telling him that he is 17.

While, Captain America and and Clay Quartermain were overseeing the transfer of Viper, they would be attacked by the Serpent Society, who were trying to free the transported prisoners Madame Hydra, Lyle Getz and King Cobra. After appreciating those events, Parker would run into an alleyway to change into his Spider-Man Costume.

Meeting Captain America[]

As Captain America was being defeated by the Serpent Society, Peter Parker (now in his Spider-Man identity) pounced on them, causing the Serpent Society to briefly lose their balance. After a talk where Spider-Man introduces himself to Captain America, both would fight side by side to protect the Citizens of New York from the Serpent Society. After the battle, the street collapses to the subway underneath, taking Captain America, Spider-Man, and the convoy vehicle with it. They held Madame Hydra and the rest of the villains captive while trying to help the civilians get out of the subway save.

Spider-Man tried to defend Captain America when the civilians began began making angry accusations at him. due to his bad reputation. Only to have the civilians treat him as a threat again. However, that would make all the New Yorkers treat Spider-Man like he was a menace again. After these events, Spider-Man would ask the Captain America why he didn't defend himself from the angry accusations that were given to him. To which Captain America would reply that just as Peter continues to be a hero despite the angry accusations make by the people, Cap is going to do the same until the truth is revealed. Sometime later, Spider-Man and Captain America later battled The Serpent Society again, while Captain America defeated the Serpent Society, Spider-Man prevented a ceiling from collapsing into the civilians. After that they were found by Iron Man and the other Avengers present at the time, all while Spider-Man lies on the ground.

Some time later Spider-Man would read alongside with Captain America a new from the Daily Bugle newspaper, while Captain America was finally seen as a hero again. Spider-Man wasn't so lucky, being upset to find that Jameson had, once again, made him out to be a menace, with the Daily Bugle front page reading: "Captain America Saves NY from Spider-Man and the Serpent Society". After he said his goodbyes to Captain America, Spider-Man mentioned that he was going to web J. Jonah's mouth shut for that, which the Captain did not object to. Sometime later, Spider-Man attended the funeral of Hank Pym, who later resurfaced as Yellowjacket.

The New Avengers[]

Forming the Team[]

Some time after his encounter with Captain America. Spider-Man would swing through the city after finishing one of his patrols to sit on the edge of a rooftops to rest. However, his rest would be interrupted when an explosion near Stark Industries occurs. Making Spider-Man decide to swing to the place of the explosion to investigate, in the process Peter would end up fighting a group of dinosaurs, making him being shocked by that fact. Just as he is being outnumbered by the animals, he is saved by Wolverine who asks him if he knows what is going on to which Spider-Man refuses.

Following those events, Luke Cage, The Thing, Iron Fist, and War Machine would arrive at the location to help. Only to receive a message from Tony Stark as Iron Man, who reveals that Kang The Conqueror has managed to kill the Avengers and that now it is up to them to stop him. Tony would also give Peter extra information, naming him the team leader of the group, at the same time, he would give him his A.I. Jarvis to help Peter after manipulating the frequency of Spider-Man's spider tracers, making Jarvis managing to talk to Peter trough his spider sense. Following this message Spider-Man and his teammates would become the New Avengers.

Defeating Kang and Saving the Avengers[]

Becoming the New Avengers, Peter and his team attempt to come up with a plan to defeat Kang. Even so, they would not succeed at the first time, making the members of the team fight each other. Realizing this, Spider-Man would challenge his team by telling them how they need to be united instead of apart if they want to defeat Kang the Conqueror and save the Avengers. After giving the speech all the members of the team would support him, causing Peter to reveal that he is thinking of a plan that could work to defeat Kang and bring the Avengers back.

Putting into practice the plan that Peter suggested, the New Avengers would distract Kang while Spider-Man would enter the Star Industries tower, achieving with the help of his spider-sense, he managed to reverse the effects of the time bomb that ended the lives of the Avengers, managing to bring them back to life. With the help of his team and the Avengers, Spider-Man managed to defeat Kang The Conqueror, ending his plans to end the 21st century.

Becoming an Avenger[]

After defeating Kang and saving the world. Each member of the New Avengers would take his own path, with Spider-Man being the only one left to be congratulated by Iron Man due to his cunning and courage. Deciding that Peter has what it takes to be a hero as well as make it to the big leagues. Tony Stark issued Peter an Avengers ID card, officially making Peter an Avenger, however he would only be a reserve member. Excited by the fact, Peter would jokingly ask if he could win a discount with the Avengers identification card. To which Tony denies, jokingly asking if the Avengers were really sure about the decision of recruit him.

Arrival of Galactus[]

Some time later, Galactus would arrive on earth, trying to destroy everything in his path, producing something like the end of the world. After receiving a call from the Avengers, Spider-Man would swings to the scene, freaking out after witnessing what appears to be the end of the world. Knowing that there is no time to waste, Spider-Man would fight against one of Galactus's Heralds defeating him.

With the help of the Avengers, his team and the rest of the superheroes of the earth they would send Galactus to the Negative Zone, defeating the villain once and for all. With Earth now saved, Spider-Man swings away from the spot as the Avengers get credit for saving planet Earth. All while each hero would go their own ways while the citizens praised the Avengers for defeating Galactus.

Personality[]

I talked to the police, the firemen...the people that you helped. And I heard their stories about how you saved lives. How you never asked for recognition, for reward... or even thanks. It doesn't matter what the newspapers say, or the politicians, or the whole world. They don't define who you are. You do. And not by your words...but by your actions.
~ Captain America

Peter Parker has shown to have a selfless personality. Having protected the city for years despite the Daily Bugle's smears about him, Spider-Man has saved many people without asking for anything in return, not even a thanks. Being willing to help any civilian, including those who offend him due to his bad reputation. Spider-Man is willing to help anyone no matter the situation or place.

His humble and selfless personality was admired by Captain America himself. Which he began to respect and admire because of everything Peter has done for the city, a feeling that seems to be mutual. Because Peter seems to admire Captain America too much, seeing him as an amazing person, to the point that he jokingly asked him that if he can be his sidekick once he realized that Captain America thinks nice things about him, showing the admiration Peter have for the patriotic hero.

Peter also has a great sense of responsibility making him a born leader, ready to lead and help his team if necessary. Being one of the reasons that of all the heroes, Iron Man would choose Peter to be the leader of the new Avengers showing the trust and respect that he has earned from the big leagues. This is shown when Peter manages to get the New Avengers to defeat Kang the Conqueror, also managing to revive the Avengers from their temporary death. Despite that, Peter Parker has been shown to have a childish and humorous personality as Spider-Man. Sometimes making endless jokes, some funny and others not so much.

Despite the fact that Peter Parker is someone responsible, mature and selfless. Spider-Man still wants to be recognized as a hero, being a bit tired and annoyed how he is always treated as the bad guy due to J Jonah Jameson's accusations of his heroic activity through the Daily Bugle. Despite Peter wanting them to stop treating him as a threat and treat him like a hero, he continues to save others without asking for anything in return. Even so, Peter continues to work for the person who slanders him, his boss. At the same time, he has been shown to have a kind of anger every time someone calls him a child. Which he showed with Hawkeye when he called him a 10-year-old boy.

Powers and Abilities[]

Powers[]

  • Spider-Sense: Spider-Man possesses the extraordinary ability to sense when danger is about to occur before it does; this helps him counter attack the threat before it happens and helps him get ready for what's coming. This power is incorporated in his fighting style, his spider-sense also triggers his reflexes to avoid the threat. Also, a tingling sensation in Peter's skull warns him of danger, and how to avoid it. The stronger the tingling, the more imminent and threatening the danger is. It manifests when his secret identity is about to compromised before it is. It is also effective even if he is drunk, blindfolded, asleep, or even stunned. it also gives him a radar-like perception of his surroundings, which is how he swings around New York City with ease. Peter can choose to ignore it through intense concentration, though the spider-sense is endlessly passive and endlessly uncontrollable.
  • Superhuman Senses: His senses are heightened, specifically his sight as he no longer needs his glasses after the spider bite.
  • Superhuman Strength: Peter can approximately lift 10 tons. Spider-Man's strength lets him easily lift and throw automobiles and most standard heavy objects. He must always pull his punches unless fighting someone the same power status as him or greater. Otherwise his blows would prove fatal.
  • Superhuman Speed: Spider-Man can run and move at speeds that are beyond the physical limits of the finest human athlete, though the exact extent of this speed has yet to be determined.
  • Superhuman Durability: Spider-Man's body is physically tougher and more resistant to some types of injury than the body of a normal human. His body is more resistant to impact forces than anything else. He can withstand great impacts, such as falling from a height of several stories or being struck by an opponent with super strength. Events which would severely injure or kill a normal human, leave him with little to no discomfort.
  • Superhuman Agility: Spider-Man's agility, balance, and bodily coordination are all enhanced to levels that are beyond the natural physical limits of the finest human athlete. Spider-Man is extraordinarily limber and his tendons and connective tissues are twice as elastic as the average human being's, despite their enhanced strength. He has the combined agility and acrobatic prowess of the most accomplished circus aerialists and acrobats. He can also perform any complicated sequence of gymnastic stunts such as flips, rolls, and springs. He can easily match or top any Olympic record at gymnastics apparatus such as flying rings, climbing ropes, horizontal bars, and trampolines. Due to his incredible strength and flexibility, Peter is extremely acrobatic and is able to preform high jumps, somersaults, flips and the like.
  • Superhuman Equilibrium: Spider-Man possesses the ability to achieve a state of perfect equilibrium in any position imaginable. He seems able to adjust his position by instinct, which enables him to balance himself on virtually any object, no matter how small or narrow. He has developed a unique fighting style that has made full use of his agility, strength, and equilibrium.
  • Superhuman Reflexes: Spider-Man's reflexes are similarly enhanced and are currently about 40 times greater than those of any ordinary human. In combination with his spider-sense, the speed of his reflexes allows him to dodge any attack, including direct gunfire, even at point blank.
  • Regenerative Healing Factor: Peter's metabolism is greater thus allowing him to rapidly heal faster, extensively and efficiently than any normal human is capable of. He is also more immune to toxins and alcohol and drugs will lose their effects quicker. It is unknown if his healing is fast enough to effect his aging yet or if it ever will.
  • Wall-Crawling: Peter has super strong hairs on his palms and feet that allow him to stick to any surface. This ability appears to be consciously used and is so far limited to Spider-Man's body (especially concentrated in his hands and feet) and another object, with an upper limit of several tons per finger. The full nature of this ability has yet to be established but it seems that he is capable of using this combined with his strength to uproot objects from their place without having to fully use his hands such as when he pulled open the back window of a van that he suspend with his webs to save a boy still stuck in the van and he did with ease.

Abilities[]

  • Indomitable Will: Spider-Man has a strong force of will, completely free of evil and temptation. He has struggled to balance his life as a student and his superhero duties.
  • Genius Intellect: Academically gifted, Peter displays an uncanny affinity for science, mathematics, mechanics, biology, and physics. Peter is very smart, specifically in chemistry and physics.
  • Science Major: He is a brilliant individual, with exceptional skill in practically every field of science, and is an excellent inventor. He is an accomplished chemist and physicist. He possesses enough competency in this field to invent his trademark web-shooters.
  • Skilled Photographer: Peter is a very skilled photographer.
  • Skilled Acrobat: Thanks to his great strength and phenomenal equilibrium, Peter is an excellent athlete, excelling in all gymnastic fields and being able to perform every acrobatic stunt ever performed, including others that can never be performed by even an Olympic acrobat. Due to his superhuman physical abilities, Peter easily surpasses normal acrobats and is able to perform somersaults, flips, spins, cartwheels, etc.
  • Skilled Combatant: Thanks to Peter's amazing superhuman physiology, acrobatic powers and spider sense, he is an excellent hand-to-hand combatant using a fighting style derived from his spider-like abilities, he made his own street style that could rival virtually any combatant out of sheer volatility to standard fighting techniques (e.g. webbing, wall crawling, super strength to lift heavy objects, etc.) Using a mixture of his superhuman strength, speed, agility, reflexes, speed, equilibrium, Spider-sense, and web-shooters, Peter is able to utilize an devastating acrobatic fighting style that makes him a formidable opponent and allowed him to easily take down thugs, cops (be it regular officers or SWAT officers) and even the more physically powerful Lizard.
  • Web-Slinging: Peter uses his web-shooters to travel by swinging on web-lines. Combined with his spider abilities, he can move at amazing speeds throughout the urban chasms of Manhattan. It is unknown how fast but he seems to be able cover much of the city in a considerable amount of time.

Equipment[]

  • Web-Shooters: Parker's brilliance at physical science allowed him to create web-shooters for use when he became Spider-Man. The twin devices worn on his wrists are able to shoot thin strands of a special web fluid at high pressure and speeds. Spider-Man's webs can be used to ensnare and immobilize his opponents. Also, Spider-Man moves through locations by shooting a web-line and attaching it to an object (most often a building). He then swings, shoots another web-line, attaches it, and repeats the process. It appears to be able to hold more than one web cartridge in case more is needed.
  • Web Fluid: A shear-thinning liquid, virtually solid until a shearing force is applied to it, rendering it fluid, whose exact formula remains unknown, but is rumored to be related to nylon. The web line’s tensile strength is estimated to be 120 pounds per square millimeter of cross section. Looking at his father's research, Peter was able to perfect a fluid that mimicked a spider's webbing, although it was much stronger.
  • Spider-Man´s Suit: This suit was made using spandex which provides flexible movement, yet it does not give any protection which is vulnerable to dangers.

Other Equipment[]

  • Spider-Signal: A bright light that he created with Spider-Man's face on it to the criminals about his arrival. Even tough he not used it that much, he is seen using it to illuminated the underground of the subways so the civilians could passed.
  • Utility Belt: Spider-Man created a belt that is used to hold cartridges for his web fluid.
