Stacy Plays is a supporting character in the Minecraft: Story Mode series.
Though initially coming off as rude or dismissive, she is a brave adventurer with a love for wolves. She was one of the guests invited to the White Pumpkin's mansion, where she had to team up with Jesse's gang to identify the killer. She would later return Season 2, moving into Beacontown with Stampy Cat.
She is voiced by her real-life counterpart, Stacy Hinojosa.
Personality[]
In A Portal to Mystery, Stacy is shown to be quiet and introverted, talking noticeably less than all the other Youtubers. She usually only speaks whenever she feels necessary, is addressed, or for curiosity's sake. Despite this, she is fairly honest, not lying about anything at the mansion. In fact, she believes other people very easily. She is loyal and cares a lot about her friends, defending Stampy for his "prank" and refusing to save Cassie because she killed many of her buddies.
When Stacy returns in Minecraft: Story Mode: Season Two, she is shown to be much more optimistic and heroic than in her debut. She is more vocal about her opinions, debating over Stampy about to sell pumpkin pie at Founding Day. When darkness falls over Beacontown for the second time, she willingly volounteers with Stampy be defend Beacontown while Jesse leaves to defeat the Admin. She is also a good pet owner, as shown by her affection for her wolf, Wink.

Backround[]
Not much is known about Stacy's past. At some point, she was invited along with the other YouTubers to the White Pumpkin's mansion, unknowingly as a trap for Cassie Rose to find the enchanted flint and steel. Cassie knew one of the YouTubers had it, so she created traps around her mansion to kill her guests in order to fish out the flint and steel from their inventories.
Season 1[]
A Portal to Mystery[]
Stacy is first seen when CaptainSparklez rounds up her, Dan, and Stampy to the dining room of the mansion. Here she is introduced to Jesse and his/her gang for the first time. Once everyone is properly introduced, Sparklez delivers the tragic news that TorqueDawg was killed in a trap, shocking everyone. Stacy was interested in his inventory. After the meeting, everyone splits up into their cliques. Stacy and Stampy meet up by a fireplace to talk about something.
Jesse went around the room, asking each group questions to try and figure out what is happening. When meeting up with Stampy and Stacy, he/she can ask Stacy why she was interested in TorqueDawg's inventory. She reveals that he was a famous thief, and that she was just curious if he had anything interesting in his inventory. She also reveals that TorqueDawg broke into Lizzie's house and stole her belongings, explaining their beef with each other. Later, Sparklez makes an announcement at dinner table, however he suddenly gets flung into a trap, suffocating to death under sand.
Stacy stayed in the lobby while Jesse's suspects were being interrogated. Regardless of who Jesse accuses, Stacy will stays with the crowd for safety. She later follows everyone to the commotion in the living room, where she sees Lukas holding the White Pumpkin mask. This is enough evidence to her that he is the White Pumpkin, quickly putting the blame on him.
Stacy stays in the living room while Cassie and Ivor take Lukas to the lobby. When Jesse finds a secret tunnel behind a portrait, everybody gathers around it. However, Stacy was still upset about either Dan or Lizzie's death, sarcastically stating how she "totally wants to go into Lukas' secret lair."
Jesse, Petra, and Stampy eventually return from their investigation. When Jesse starts laying down his evidence, all pointing to Cassie, Stacy gets more and suspicious. Eventually, Cassie finally cracks, admitting that she is the killer. In the middle of the chaos, Cassie backs up and falls into one of her own sand trap. While everyone attempts to rescue her, Stacy stands back, stating how she did not deserve to be saved after all the people she killed. Jesse can either help everyone dig or stand back with Stacy. When Cassie's inventory rises from the sand, everyone realizes that they were free from the White Pumpkin's clutches. After the sun rose and the White Pumpkin supposedly defeated, Stacy bids Jesse and his gang farewell, thanking them for everything.
Season 2[]
Hero in Residence[]
Stacy Plays and Stampy Cat make a return by visiting Beacontown with the former's puppy, Wink. They play a minor role in this episode. Stacy gives Jesse a handful of bones to calm down Wink, letting him/her keep the leftovers after. She and Stampy leave to their place to plan on their Founding Day baked goods.
Jesse can optionally meet Stampy and Stacy while they are debating over whether they should give out cake or pumpkin pie respectively. Stacy gives all the ingredients to Jesse, letting him/her decide which one they should make. By gathering more ingredients around town, Jesse can choose to either give them cake, pie, or both.
When Jesse comes back to Beacontown after adventuring into the sea temple, Stampy and Stacy greet him/her by the gates, just in time for Founding Day. They join the crowd of civilians as they cheer for Jesse while he/she shows off the newly found structure block. However, this celebration would not last for long, as earthquake-like stomps shook the ground.
Giant Consequences[]
Picking up right after the previous episode, a gigantic Prismarine Colossus loomed over the town. Stacy and Stampy are concerned over their and everyone else's safety, even after Jesse tries to reassure them. The Colossus attacked Jesse, destroying Stampy and Stacy's house in the process. While Jesse and Lukas are fighting the Colossus, Stacy is fending off against the hostile mobs, protecting the helpless Stampy.
When Jesse turned the giant clock the Colossus dropped, he/she restored daylight, causing all the undead to burn, much to Stacy and Stampy's relief. The Admin soon returns in snowman form, telling Jesse about his/her new challenge while Stampy and Stacy overhear the conversation. When the snowman leaves, Stacy and Stampy approach Jesse, promising that they will rebuild the gate and protect Beacontown with their lives.
Above and Beyond[]
Stacy with (determinately) Wink return in the finale episode as part of the New Ocelots, Lukas' reformed group to try and rebel against "Jesse." They ended up in prison after presumably bothering "Jesse," however Lukas broke them out and let them join the rebellion.
When the real Jesse infiltrates Romeo's tower, the New Ocelots surround him/her in an attempt to end his/her tyranny. However, Jesse proves that the Admin stole his/her identity in an attempt to rule Beacontown. Hearing this, Jesse and and Ocelots charge to the top of the tower to confront Romeo. However, with the Admin teleports all the Ocelots back to the hallway before they can interfere. Stacy is last seen celebrating with everyone else as the bedrock in the sky disappears.

- "Stacy Plays" and "StacyPlays" are interchangeable.
- Stacy Plays is a popular YouTuber in the Minecraft community, having over two million subscribers.
- She and Stampy Cat are the only YouTubers who can not be killed in the White Pumpkin's mansion. This would allow them to return in the second season without contradicting any player choices.
- At Minecon 2016, Stacy herself revealed that her character had a determinant death in A Portal to Mystery. However, this was cut due to budget restrictions.
- Oddly, Stacy and Stampy do not have any lines in Above and Beyond for an unknown reason.
