Starly is a main hero of The Legendary Starfy series. Her first appearance was in Densetsu no Starfy 3. Starly is Starfy's younger sibling.
Densetsu no Starfy 3
Starly interrupts the conversation between Moe and Papa Star which was after Ogura escapes Pufftop. Moe hasn't ever seen Starly before, so she introduced herself. She decides to join Moe and Starfy on their quest to find Ogura in the end. Then she pushes both of them to the sea and jumps to join them.
Densetsu no Starfy 4
Starly speaks to Moe about Ruby, after Mattel informs Starfy and his friends about the problem at the Amiy Kingdom. Starly was most likely attempting to convince him to assist her and Starfy save the Amiy Kingdom inorder to impress Ruby. Later on, the three of them came back to the sea.
The Legendary Starfy
She has special moves players playing as Starfy is unable to use or master, like jumping off of walls. Moe asks Starfy if he is willing to have Starly to join them, in order to access playing as Starly. In the game she appears smaller in size than Starfy. She appears in a mini-game named "Dumpling Master". Starly and the player make dumplings in order give them to Starfy, who then gives the food to Moe. She makes two little appearances in different mini-games such as Fishing Derby and Coin Slinger.
Super Smash Bros. Brawl
Starly shows up as a sticker and collectable trophy (then was mentioned to by the romanization of her Japanese name, as "Stapy"). Starly speaks using the Kansai dialect in accordance to the Japanese version of the game.
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
Starly comes back as a collectable spirit in Spirits mode. Starly's spirit battle is on the battlefield form of the Tortimer's Island Stage in opposition to Jigglypuff who has limited incapability of being defeated.
- Starly hasn't had her exclusive capabilities taught to her by the same character two times.
- Her bow is only on her left side in Densetsu no Starfy 3 and Densetsu no Starfy 4, however the bow flips when she turns in The Legendary Starfy.
