Steve Boswell is the tritagonist of Goosebumps TV series premier The Haunted Mask Part 1 and the secondary protagonist of The Haunted Mask Part 2. He is usually seen hanging out with his best friend Chuck playing pranks on Carly Beth Caldwell. In part one of the series premiere he and chuck are Carly Beth’s main target when possessed by her mask due to them always pranking her. They get frightened and never scare her again. In part 2 he finds out where Carly Beth got her mask and takes one of his own and uses it to scare other trick or treaters later on he finds out the mask is haunted and can’t remove it and things get worse when Carly Beth’s old mask returns and gets Steve under his command. When Carly Beth, Sabrina and Chuck rescue Steve he finally removed the mask and burns his along with Carly Beth’s in his chimney at his house and is seen on his couch drinking hot coco recovering from the damage the mask did to him.

- In the TV Series, he was played by George Davis in The Haunted Mask 1 and by John White in The Haunted Mask 2.
- Steve was John White's second role in the Goosebumps TV Series. He previously played Michael Webster, the main protagonist of the episode The Cuckoo Clock of Doom
