Sticks the Badger is a supporting character in the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise. She is an anthropomorphic badger who spent her early life in the wilderness, and has difficulties accomodating to modern life.
Like her Sonic Boom counterpart, she is voiced by Nika Futterman.
Biography[]
Past[]
Similar to her Sonic Boom counterpart, Sticks spent her childhood in the wilderness until she met Sonic the Hedgehog and joined him and his friends in the battles against Dr. Eggman and his forces.
Sonic Comic[]
Sticks appears in a series of online comics posted by SEGA that is presumably set in the mainstream video game canon.
In Act:012, after Amy unknowingly attacked the invisible Espio, Sticks asked her what was happening.
In Act:018, Sticks expressed her frustration with television, accusing it of "corrupting" her. No matter how she tried to resist the urge to try the cake advertised on TV, she eventually succumbed to it and tried the cake, though she kept fearing the television, prompting Tails to make an annoyed and exhausted expression towards her.
In Special Stage, Sticks is featured alongside all the characters seen in the comic so far (with the exception of Eggman Nega), and takes part in the battle between the heroic characters and Dr. Eggman's forces.
Sonic Frontiers[]
In the mid-credits scene, Amy suggests going on a road trip with Cream and Sticks (this line was not mentioned in the Japanese dub).
Other Media[]
Sticks appears as a playable character in Sonic Runners and Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.
Personality[]
From what little is seen of Sticks, she tends to be paranoid and distrusts modern day technology and outright feels irritated by it. She also believes that television can control her and actually influenced her to try the cake, while Tails rationalizes this by suggesting that she was just "greedy".

Trivia[]
- Sticks the Badger is the only Sonic Boom character to appear in the main series.
- According to Ian Flynn, this makes it possible for her to appear in the IDW Sonic the Hedgehog comics. A story that would reveal that she was living on the Angel Island was pitched, but rejected by Sega.
