Stoick the Vast is one of the main characters of the book series, How to Train Your Dragon.
Biography[]
How to Train Your Dragon[]
Stoick met Hiccup's dragon, Toothless, who is a very small dragon. Fishlegs told him that it is an extraordinary dragon, Toothless Daydream.
Hiccup and all other boys failed the test of dragon training because of Toothless and the penalty is banishment, but Stoick made them stay for a while.
When the boys are planning how to defeat the Green Death, Stoick declares unbanishment.
How to Be a Pirate[]
Stoick went with other members of the tribe in order to find the treasure of Grimbeard the Ghastly, his great grandfather.
How to Speak Dragonese[]
When Hiccup and Fishlegs are back on Berk, Stoick scolded Hiccup for loosing Toothless. Also he confiscated Hiccup's How to Speak Dragonese and burned it, but Hiccup later got it.
How to Cheat a Dragon's Curse[]
Stoick noticed sick Fishlegs in public.
How to Twist a Dragon's Tale[]
Stoick is planning to save Hiccup, even though he is only wearing underwear.
A Hero's Guide to Deadly Dragons[]
Toothless burned the How to Train Your Dragon book and Stoick's throne, so Stoick scolded Hiccup. Stoick also noticed that Hiccup has a book, A Hero's Guide to Deadly Dragons, but he confiscated it, since books are banned, except How to Train Your Dragon.
When the Hairy Scary Librarian came and shoot an arrow at Stoick, the book in his chest pocket blocked it. Stoick declared that he will unban books.
How to Ride a Dragon's Storm[]
There is a swimming contest and the last one is the winner. Stoick also participated, but he lost.
How to Break a Dragon's Heart[]
Stoick and his tribe went to the island and saw a throne. The one who sat is Ug the Ulithug.
How to Steal a Dragon's Sword[]
In the swordfighting school, Stoick participated in the swordfighting. He has beaten many opponents until his last opponent, Hiccup has beaten him.
How to Seize a Dragon's Jewel[]
In the Amber Slavelands, Stoick is one of the slaves, including Gobber and Baggybum.
