Stripes is the main protagonist of Racing Stripes. He is a zebra who is raised on a farm and is the rival of Sir Trenton, the main antagonist, who insults Stripes and his friends for his sake.
Stripes is voiced by Frankie Muniz.
Bio[]
Stripes is a foundling zebra who desires to compete in the Kentucky Open race, which leads to bullying from the local horses with the sole exception of Sandy, whom he has a crush on.
Personality[]
Stripes has the typical personality of an athlete, very talented and highly driven but prone to mood swings and insecurity.
He was very excited to become a racer. He is also fun, dreamer, and kind to the animals.
He is competitive, brave and helpful, as he saved Sandy from Sir Trenton.
His personality is similar to Lightning McQueen and Simba.
Role in the film[]
Stripes is found as an abandoned zebra foal when a circus leaves him behind. Nolan finds him and takes him to his farm, where he meets Channing and the other farm animals. He grows up believing that he is a horse and wants to race. Stripes meets with other farm animals to achieve his dream to be a race horse. He intends to prove his worth to accomplish his goal.
