Stuart Pritchard is the main protagonist of the 2013 comedy series Hello Ladies and it's 2014 TV film Hello Ladies: The Movie.
He is a web designer who leaves his homeland of England to move to Los Angeles to find love. He lives with an aspiring actress named Jessica and has two friends called Wade (who is estranged from his wife) and Kives (a wheelchair-bound man who is more successful with women that Stuart and Wade). Due to his awkwardness, Stuart keeps running into situations that prevent him from connecting with women.
Stuart can be rude at times towards women as in one episode he tried to pair with a friend of Jessica's whilst brushing off a tourist who said she visited England. After learning that neither of Jessica's friends were interested in him or single, Stuart tried to get with the tourist, only for her to reject him for his earlier behaviour towards her before she along with the other tourists went with Kives instead.
In another episode, Stuart dated a woman and checked her phone and saw another man's name in it, causing him to think she was cheating on him. But at the end of the episode, when confronting her about it, he learned that the other man on her phone was her brother who is suffering from leukaemia.
He is played by Stephen Merchant who has also played Darren Lamb in Extras, Paris in Gnomeo and Juliet and Wheatley in Portal 2.
