Suno (スノ, Suno?) is a minor character in the Dragon Ball franchise. She is a resident in Jingle Village and the best friend of Eighter.
In Japanese she is voiced by Naoko Watanabe as a child and by Mayumi Tanaka as an adult. In English she is voiced by Susan Huber in the Funimation dub except in DBZ Kai where she is voiced by Felecia Angelle, and by France Perras in the Ocean Group dubs.
Biography[]
Dragon Ball[]
Suno is a child who lives in Jingle Village, where is situated in a cold region where it always snows. This village was taken by the Red Ribbon Army to find a Dragon Ball and General White declared that when they find the ball the residents of the village will be executed. When Goku arrives in a plane crash, Suno finds him unconscious and takes his body to her house before the Red Ribbon soldiers finds them. There Suno and her mother takes care of him and tells him what happened in their village, telling that their Chief is locked up in the Muscle Tower. Goku decides to go there, so Suno and her mother gives him one of their winter coats so he can reach the tower before being frozen. After Goku succeesfuly defeats the brigade of General White and saves the chief he comes back to the village with Android 8, now known as Eighter. Suno befriends Eighter and decides to go to Dr. Flappe's house to extract Eighter's bomb from his body. There she is threatened by Murasaki, who survived the destruction of the Muscle Tower and wants to get the Dragon Balls, but she is saved by Goku and Eighter. Then Suno tells Goku where is the West City before saying goodbye to him.
Three years later, Suno goes to Central City to participate in the twentieth anniversary ceremony of King Furry's reingn, where she is going to give him some flowes. When her turn comes, King Piccolo attacks the castle causing a big explosion. Suno helps the injured survivors and at one moment she tries to use a bazooka of the Earth's Military to kill Piccolo, but regrets in the last moment. Then Eighter finds her and helps her to take the injured people to the hospital. When Goku kills King Piccolo, she is happy to hear that news.
Dragon Ball Z[]
In Age 774, we meet an adult Suno when she is revived after Super Buu killed all the humanity. She recognizes Goku's voice when he asks all the people of Earth to give their energy to kill Kid Buu and Suno gives it with Android 8 and the other residents of Jingle Village.
Dragon Ball GT[]
Suno is briefly seen when Goku teleports her and all of Jingle Village to New Planet Plant to save them from Earth's Explosion caused by the use of the Black Star Dragon Balls.
