SuperTed is the protagonist of the Welsh animated television series of the same name and its American co-produced spin-off, The Further Adventures of SuperTed. He is an anthropomorphic teddy bear brought to life by Spotty's cosmic dust and given special powers by Mother Nature. By uttering his secret magic word he can don his superhero outfit, complete with rocket boots, which he uses to fight evil around the world. This evil typically takes the form of the evil cowboy, Texas Pete, and his henchmen, Bulk and Skeleton.
In the original series, SuperTed is voiced by Geraint Jarman in Welsh and Derek Griffiths in English. In the spin-off, he is voiced by Derek Griffiths in the UK and Danny Cooksey in the US.
