The Super Iron Golem (alternatively called the Golem of Swiftness) is a supporting character of the 2025 fantasy action-adventure film A Minecraft Movie, the film adaptation of Mojang's Minecraft video games franchise.
It is an upgraded variant of the Iron Golems summoned by Henry when he used Steve's Boots of Swiftness in the building process. It leads the other Iron Golem in battle with the Piglins to protect the Overworld from its destruction. It is the arch-nemesis of The Great Hog.
Appearance[]
The Super Iron Golem greatly resembles other iron golems, appearing to be around 3.5 meters tall. Its notable differences are its height and blue padded armor. It also wears the boots of swiftness and a helmet resembling the aforementioned boots.
Powers and Abilities[]
The Super Iron Golem possesses the same abilities as the average iron golem, but it also is capable of accelerating at great speed, as well as performing extremely high jumps. Unlike normal iron golems, the Super Iron Golem does not use a carved pumpkin in its creation, instead using Steve's boots of swiftness in place of the pumpkin.
Biography[]
In the battle for the Overworld during the Great Darkening, the Super Iron Golem was created by Henry when he placed the boots of swiftness upon an unfinished iron golem in place of the typical carved pumpkin. After the golem's creation, it led the other golems forward to meet the piglins. After the iron golems are provoked by Travis, the golem stampedes through the army along with its soldiers, causing Malgosha to call upon the Great Hog to fight against it. The Super Iron Golem and the Great Hog are shown to be at equal footing during the majority of the fight, until the Nether Portal is closed and the golem gains the upper hand by flinging the Great Hog into the sky and jumping up to slam it back into the ground.

- Many fans have made comparisons of the Super Iron Golem to Optimus Prime from the Transformers franchise due to them both sharing similarities: Both are towering mechanical like figures who lead an army of their race against an opposing threat, both are predominantly blue in their colour scheme or armour, and the feathers on the Super Iron Golem's helmet resemble the antenna like protrusions from Optimus Prime's helmet. His battle with the Great Hog can be compared to that of Optimus Prime's rivalry with Megatron, his arch-nemesis.
