Superalloy Darkshine is a major supporting character of the webcomic, manga, anime One-Punch Man. He is the Rank 11 of S-Class Rank of the Hero Association.

He was voiced by Zeno Robinson in English and Satoshi Hino in Japanese.

Appearance

Darkshine is an extremely tall and muscular black skinned man. Similar to Saitama, he is bald. He has thick eyebrows and big lips. He is always seen shirtless most of the time, only wearing a black speedo. Whenever Darkshine starts flexing his muscles, they seem to glow with a bright light.

However, as a child, Darkshine used to be the complete opposite of what he is now. He was a short, fragile and thin looking child.

Despite his appearance, Darkshine is actually a calm and sensible that hates battles. He deeply cares about his other fellow heroes and treats them with respects and politeness. He is also a self absorbed person, as when he was with the other heroes, he often was curious if the other heroes were admiring his muscles. In battles, he will often make a blank expression to tell the enemy he doesn't affect him, which is similar to Saitama. However, when he faces a much bigger threat, he will make a much more serious and even enraged expression.

Abilities

As mentioned before, he used to be the complete opposite what is now. After years of training, where he arrived at point that he basically maxed out his strength.

Immense Durability: His defense is so great that he could withstand Garou's multiple punches on him. It is stated his defense is number one in the world out of all heroes. He was also able to shrug off a pair of drills without even feeling anything against his skin, and standing still and feeling absolutely no damage while tons of heavy and large debris falls on him.

Immense Superhuman-Strength: With years of heavy lifting, obtaining an unnatural level of strength, probably more than almost any heroes in the Hero Association (aside from Saitama). He could effortlessly kill a demon-level monster, Bug God with a single punch.

Shimmer: He trained his muscles more different than any other heroes, his skin has special abilities, where most projectiles or attacks will bounce back when they hit him, and can generate light when he flexes.
