History[]

Background[]

The baby that would be known as Superman was born as Kal-El on Krypton to Jor-El and Lara Lor-Van. Prior before the destruction of Krypton the baby Kal was sent to Earth in a space pod by his loving parents in order to spare their son from Krypton's impending destruction. Kal's pod crashed in Smallville, Kansas, where he was found by Jonathan and Martha Kent. The couple adopted him and named him "Clark Kent".

At one point of his life Clark began to discover his powers managing to moved to Metropolis where he would used a red and blue suit to defend inhabitants of Metropolis as he become the world's most powerful hero : Superman. As he was saving the city as Superman, as Clark Kent, he gained a job at the Daily Planet where he meet enthusiastic photographer Jimmy Olsen as well as her mentor, Lois Lane, which with he began to dated at some point of his life managing to finally marry her as well as introduce her to his parent. During this time, Superman also faced against many dangerous foes such as Lex Luthor, Doomsday as well as many others.

Thanks to his heroic exploits, Superman would meet with the dark knight of Gotham himself, the Batman, having many adventures together to the point they would become really closed friends to the point of revealing each other identities. Apart of Batman, Superman meet other heroes such as Wonder Woman, Flash, Green Lantern and others. Noticing that there were some threats not all heroes could face alone, Superman and most of his allies formed the Justice League as a way to defeat any treat. At one point he was killed by Doomsday until he was resurrected sometime after. He had also meet his cousin Kara Zor-El who was also a survivor of Krypton like him which would become the superheroine known as Supergirl.

Injustice: Gods Among Us[]

At some point, Superman heard a second heartbeat within Lois and discovered that she was pregnant with their child. Overjoyed at the revelation, he relayed this to Batman, who agreed to become a second father to Superman's offspring while at the same time he was invited to Alfred's birthday party which he accepts. Sometime after those events. he goes to visit alongside his wife to his parents to shared them the good news being encouraged by them that he would made a great dad.

Sometime after those events Superman flies to Gotham, specially to the Wayne Manor, to celebrate Alfred's birthday. During the occasion Clark would talk with Bruce of his conflicted feelings about him being a dad with Bruce agreeing that he will do a good job for which he accepts the compliment saying the same thing to Bruce after they sees Dick Grayson and Damian Wayne passing great time together as a family whit all the participants of the party enjoying great funny times together.

Unfortunately for most of them the party was interrupted once an invasion of villains, led by Lex Luthor, began to attack Metropolis noticing about the new threat the Justice League goes to Metropolis to defeated those villains once and for all and avoid them of hurting more people. After arriving at the place each member began to fight each villain, with Superman fighting Ares, the God of War, until he manages to incapacitate him, allowing Wonder Woman and Aquaman to bind his hands. Then, Superman attempts to get to the Watchtower and stop Luthor personally, but Doomsday lands nearby. Superman attempts to tackle him, but Doomsday backhands him aside. In the end, he alongside the Justice League, finally defeated the villain.

However, little did they know that Joker, having grown bored of fighting the Caped Crusader, turned his attention to Metropolis where he alongside his hench-woman, Harley Quinn to threaten to blow up Metropolis with all the people inside with the help of a nuclear device provided to him by Luthor as a contingency plan. After finding about this the Justice League as well as Superman began to avoid the maniacal clown to archives his goal. However, just as they were to stop him, Superman and Harley Quinn witnessed the clown of crime disappear alongside Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Green Arrow and Aquaman.

After those events Superman, Flash and Cyborg begin to trace their energy signatures at the Watchtower to find where they went. After finding their friends were trapped on an alternate dimension, Barry concocts a plan to bring them back to their world using a modified Cosmic Treadmill. After the heroes finish their work on the Treadmill, they run a test on it. When the treadmill begins to go haywire, Superman orders Cyborg to shut it down, but it is too late and Cyborg is pulled into the parallel dimension. With Cyborg gone, Superman and the Flash discuss repairs for the modified Cosmic Treadmill. Superman urges Barry to keep trying, as it may be their friends' only way home.

Sometime later after those events, Superman was transported to another universe and decides to help the Batmen save as many lives as possible before taking on his fallen counterpart after being told about what happened in his counterpart's world, especially the world's Lois. He also notes Doomsday will be tricky and decides to force that inevitable fight elsewhere. When he asks the alternate Batman if there is anything else, Bruce only tells him that it is good to have him back.

Superman quickly speeds off to Gotham and stops Black Adam from crushing Aquaman under a car. Superman orders Adam to stop and to return to his kingdom in Kahndaq. Adam responds by attacking Clark, but is easily pushed back by a single punch. Black Adam begins throwing cars at Superman, taunting his weakness and claiming that his counterpart based his Regime on his own kingdom in Kahndaq and that he allowed no insurrections. Despite Adam's claims that his power equals Clark's, Superman overcomes the fallen champion of mortals, proclaiming the regime's evil must end.

Adam attempts one final attack only to be frozen by Superman's freeze breath. Deciding Adam is contained, he turns to stop the other battles when Sinestro viciously strikes him over and over again with a powerful mace construct. The heroic Man of Steel is seemingly felled by the alien warlord, but reveals he completely dodged the attacks with his speed. Superman then easily strips Sinestro of his ring and powers before he manages to convince the alternate Hal Jordan to peacefully remove and hand over his own ring. Clark smiles, knowing that the alternate Hal made the right choice.

Clark quickly flies to Metropolis, freezes the alternate Aquaman's tidal wave with his freeze breath, and throws the icy wave out of the city, stopping his attack on several soldiers. When Aquaman challenges Superman to take on the might of Atlantis, Clark reveals his backup in the form of the turned Amazons, led by his world's Wonder Woman.

As the Amazons and Atlanteans battle in the streets of Metropolis, Clark and the alternate Arthur duel, with the latter proclaiming the duplicate is not wanted here. Superman overcomes Arthur and acknowledges that while he may not be wanted, he is clearly needed. Returning to Diana, he is informed of the Atlanteans' retreat and tells her to begin helping with rescue and recovery. The two exchange some friendly banter, and Clark prepares to tell her something else when he is struck by a Regime vehicle and knocked through several buildings. Clark is confronted by the mind-controlled Doomsday, and the two engage in a brutal battle, though the monster dominates Clark with little effort.

With no other choice, Superman tackles Doomsday into the skies, flying himself and the struggling beast into the atmosphere, and then crashes both of them into this world's Fortress of Solitude. Doomsday recovers first and stands over a winded Clark, breathing with anticipation "I live to kill you".

Clark rises up and tells Doomsday he will live disappointed, and the two battle in the Fortress. Despite the monster having once killed him before, Superman overcomes the ancient Kryptonian nightmare and sends it into the Phantom Zone to be safely contained. Exhausted but far from finished, Clark suddenly looks up and sees the evil Kal-El slowly floating down towards him.

Feeling sympathetic for everything his counterpart had to go through, at first Superman tried to talk to him trying to make his evil version to remember what Superman used to stand for. However he was disgusted and in shock when he found out that according to his evil self he think he was doing the right thing. Managing to enter on a verbal conflict, Superman would try to claim his alternate self but the latter did not listen and instead began to brag of bringing his Lois there to see the perfect world he created. Superman began telling his Regime counterpart that she will be disgusted but the Regime Superman did not listen and instead began to start a huge battle. At the end the Prime Superman would win with the fallen Superman retorting that the only thing people understand is fear - a fact that he will one day understand. A few minutes after that, his world's Batman, as well as the Insurgency, arrive to his location to put his evil counterpart behind bars.

Sometime later after those events, Superman and the alternate Batman would check on the evil Superman's prison, they were discussing their efforts of repairing the world, with Bruce saying the people need to feel in control. When Clark asks what will happen to this world's Superman, Batman reveals he and his accomplices will stand trial for their crimes. A terrified Superman told the alternate Batman that his alternate self was right; and if he had been in the same position, he might have done the same thing, admitting he is not sure what he is truly capable of. In response, the alternate Batman tells him to hope, for his world's sake, that he never finds out. Following those events the two turn and walk away, the alternate Batman assures Superman that he will come for him if he ever loses control like his alternate self did. Superman merely chuckles and tells him to get in line. Sometime after these events, Superman returned to his universe where he would continue his job as a superhero. Feeling troubled by the fight with his duplicate, he would take measures as a way to be stopped if he ever becomes as rogue as his evil counterpart.
