The story of Kal-El/Clark Jospeh Kent, better known as Superman, from My Adventures with Superman.

Early Life and Origin[]

Kal-El, later known as Clark Kent, was born on the distant planet Krypton. His father, Jor-El, was a brilliant scientist who discovered that Krypton was on the brink of destruction due to its unstable core. He warned the ruling council of Krypton about the impending disaster, but they refused to listen to him . In a desperate attempt to save their infant son from the planet's destruction Jor-El and his wife, Lara Lor-Van, placed baby Kal-El in a small spacecraft and sent him to Earth, a young and primitive planet located far away from Krypton. In the process of launching the spacecraft, it interfered with the technology being used to open Brainiac's portal to earth during his attempted invasion, leading to the invasion being prevented.

The spacecraft crash-landed in Smallville, Kansas, where it was discovered by a couple named Jonathan and Martha Kent. They were a kind-hearted and childless couple who decided to adopt the baby as their own. They named him Clark Kent and raised him with love and care. As Clark grew older, his Kryptonian physiology started to manifest superhuman abilities under Earth's yellow sun, which gave him incredible powers.

Guided by his parents, he developed into a person with strong ethics, kindness, and a helpful nature. However, he also became somewhat awkward and anxious. Despite being aware of his Kryptonian heritage following his traumatic encounter, Clark chose to keep his distance from the spacecraft buried in the Kents' farm, afraid that it might disconnect him from his human identity.

As an adult, Clark moved to Metropolis, a bustling city where he began his career initially as an intern, but later a reporter, for the Daily Planet. He would go on to meet the conspiracy-obsessed, enthusiastic Jimmy Olsen, whom he became roommates with. They both landed internships at the Daily Planet, where they unexpectedly encountered Lois Lane. It was after saving Lois from Livewire's stolen mechs that she affectionately dubbed him "Superman," leading him to learn more about his mysterious past and adopt a Kryptonian protective suit for his superhero persona.

My Adventures with Superman[]

Season 1[]

Adventures of a Normal Man (Parts 1 and 2)[]

Years ago, at the Kent farm, young Clark retrieves his kite stuck in a tree. Suddenly, he hears a car crash. Clark rushes to the scene, using super-speed to save the distracted mother and her child. Later, he successfully retrieves his kite, unlocking his power of flight and sparking curiosity about his abilities.

In the present, adult Clark shares an apartment with Jimmy Olsen, preparing for their first day at the Daily Planet. A visit to a convenience store introduces them to Lois Lane. An embarrassing encounter leads to a rushed departure, but Clark uses super-speed to save Jimmy from a truck. At the Daily Planet, Lois introduces Clark and Jimmy to Perry White, their boss. Perry wants Lois to supervise the interns, but Lois decides to involve them in her investigation about stolen military robots. Meanwhile, criminals Leslie Willis and Badger discuss their failed robot sale and switch to plan B.

To investigate, Clark, Lois, and Jimmy enlist the help of the Newskid Legion. They follow garbage trucks to a warehouse at the docks but find the robots missing. Perry repeatedly calls Lois, wanting the interns back. Clark confronts Lois about her lie, disappointed she prioritized her ambition over her colleagues.

While Lois and Jimmy continue the investigation, they spot the criminals and are shot at. Clark returns in disguise to help, revealing his powers. Lois deactivates the robots, and they escape without seeing Clark's face. Back at the Daily Planet, Perry agrees to run their story once Jimmy gets proper photos of "Superman." Clark, relieved his secret identity remains intact, decides to work as a team with Lois and Jimmy.

Lois sets up an abandoned office as their base, wanting to investigate Superman. Jimmy starts his online stream, Flamebird, to aid their research. Clark, despite concerns about his identity, agrees to help uncover the truth about Superman, something he's curious about too. He leaves the office, and Lois takes Jimmy to locate the woman who attacked them, thinking she can lead them to Superman.

Meanwhile, Willis tries to keep a low profile but faces armed assailants. She incapacitates them and contacts their boss, demanding a meeting at the Metropolis Bistro or threatening to destroy stolen technology. Clark returns to the Kent farm and activates a holographic platform, learning about his past on a war-torn planet. A blue light envelops him, and he reappears at the farm in a Superman suit. Lois and Jimmy track Willis to the sewers, discovering explosives planted beneath the streets.

Willis meets a mysterious man at the Bistro, attempting to remove herself from his hit-list, but he isn't intimidated. Lois and Jimmy, exiting the sewers, encounter Willis. A fight ensues, with Willis using an electric harness. Martha modifies Superman's suit with a yellow belt and red trunks. Superman arrives in time to save Lois and Jimmy from Willis, neutralizing her and preventing a city-destroying explosion. He fixes the damage and hides his suit under his pillow. Lois tells Clark about their story's approval, but Perry credits it to another group of reporters. Willis is captured by a government agent interested in Superman.

My Interview with Superman[]

In the bustling city of Metropolis, a blimp suddenly careened out of control, threatening disaster as it crashed into a skyscraper. With lightning speed, Superman swooped in, rescuing the pilot and preventing a deadly steel beam from crashing onto a crowd below. Amid the chaos, intrepid reporter Lois Lane rushed to the scene, seeking an interview with the iconic hero. However, Superman, ever the symbol of humility, declined, explaining that he needed to tend to the damaged blimp first.

Simultaneously, a new criminal menace was emerging in Metropolis. Kyle Nimbus and Rough House had acquired advanced weaponry, the same technology that had been stolen by the now-free Siobhan McDougal. Together, they formed a criminal outfit known as "Intergang," poised to wreak havoc on the city. Their next target: Stryker's Island Penitentiary. Back at the Daily Planet, Clark Kent and Lois found themselves frustrated as their investigation into Superman was upended by their colleagues, Steve Lombard, Cat Grant, and Ronnie Troupe. Determined not to be outdone, Lois decided to pursue another lead: the breakout at Stryker's Island.

Their quest for information led them to Warden Ellis, who revealed details about Intergang, a trio of thieves plaguing Metropolis with convenience store heists. But their investigative escapade was soon discovered, forcing them to flee, their ethics challenged when Lois pilfered press passes to escape the pursuing authorities. Intriguingly, they stumbled upon Siobhan's cell, where Lois uncovered cryptic notes indicating a sinister plot. With the breakout at the prison, Intergang seemed to be orchestrating a daring robbery at Metropolitan City Bank, with Siobhan's notes pointing to the precise timing.

Racing against the clock, Clark, Lois, and Jimmy made their way to the bank. However, as Intergang initiated their heist, they became trapped. Superman, sensing the urgency, shed his disguise and leaped into action. Chaos ensued as the freezing cannon malfunctioned, but Superman's heat vision finally quelled the threat, albeit not before offering him a cryptic vision of a robotic army. In the aftermath, Lois and Jimmy valiantly aided the injured, and Slade Wilson captured Intergang. As they searched for Clark, he revealed himself to them, while Lois finally secured her coveted interview with Superman. During their rooftop conversation, Superman confessed his uncertainty about his origins but declared his unwavering commitment to Metropolis. Astonishingly, Lois, having witnessed his humility and courage, branded Superman a liar, leaving Clark bewildered by her perception of him.

Let's Go to Ivo Tower, You Say[]

Lois remains adamant about her suspicions regarding Superman's truthfulness. Clark, trying to maintain his secret identity, believes in Superman's genuine intentions to help people, but Lois mistakenly interprets it as self-description. Jimmy presents Lois with magazines and articles discussing aliens, suggesting they could help locate Superman. Perry then calls them to his office. Perry assigns them to cover a party at Ivo Tower, hosted by Anthony Ivo, CEO of AmazoTech. Clark intends to investigate Ivo's alleged criminal activities, but Perry advises against it. As Clark prepares for the event, he stumbles upon a magazine article about a flying boy from Kansas, realizing it's about him.

At the party, Curtis, a member of AmazoTech's board, confronts Ivo about the company's financial struggles. Ivo promises a groundbreaking project to turn things around but faces skepticism. Clark attempts to question Ivo about corruption, leading to his ejection. Lois, impressed by Clark's bravery, sneaks him back in. They bond, with Lois sharing her strained relationship with her father and Clark recognizing her positive influence on his life. Almost revealing his secret, Clark stops himself when Lois expresses her aversion to deception.

A secret room housing Intergang-like technology piques their interest. Ivo unveils the "Parasite 1.0" armor, presenting it as a solution to Metropolis's crime problem. When Ivo attacks Curtis, Superman intervenes but faces off against the powered suit, which absorbs and redirects energy. Lois and Jimmy disable the energy field imprisoning the guests, allowing Superman to defeat Ivo, leaving him disfigured. Back at the Daily Planet, Lois begins to suspect Clark's true identity upon finding the article in his coat. Her investigation into the resemblance between Clark and Superman commences.

You Will Believe a Man Can Lie[]

Jimmy prepares for a camping trip, hoping to investigate Bigfoot sightings with Clark and Lois. However, he discovers that Clark has already left for a jog, and a video commentator mocks his Flamebird videos. At the Daily Planet, Jimmy crosses paths with Steve, who proposes a collaboration on sports reporting. Lois, determined to make Clark reveal his Superman identity, welcomes him to the office. Clark arrives with an evidence board connecting Metropolis criminals using similar technology. He plans to use the Daily Planet's dispatch scanner to track this tech. Lois suggests involving Superman, but Clark, fearing exposure, appreciates her support and excuses himself as the scanner detects multiple crimes.

While Superman addresses citywide emergencies, Lois pursues him, attempting to have Clark and Superman together. She handcuffs herself to Superman, and they confront a criminal group using the tech. Rory, a member, accuses Superman of abducting those connected to the stolen tech. After Rory's escape, Superman brings Lois to the Daily Planet for safety. Superman resumes the pursuit of Rory, and Rory's conflict with him is observed by Agent Slade Wilson. His superiors order him to contain Superman, deploying robots to assist. During the battle, Superman realizes the tech belongs to Wilson and his organization, responsible for kidnapping criminals connected to it. Despite the confrontation, the General overseeing the operation decides to let Superman go, impressed by his rescue efforts.

Returning to the Daily Planet, Clark, battered from the battle, reunites with Lois, who notices his injuries. She confronts Clark about his dual identity, causing him to confirm her suspicions. Hurt by his dishonesty, Lois severs their friendship. Meanwhile, Jimmy embarks on a solo camping trip but is abducted by a mysterious gorilla-like creature in the night.

My Adventures with Mad Science[]

Lois gets ready to join the camping trip that Jimmy initially planned for her, Clark, and himself. When she tries to contact Jimmy, there's no response. However, she runs into Clark, who asks for help in locating Jimmy. They embark on a search in the forest and stumble upon a restricted area fenced with an energy field. Clark's powers are weakened upon crossing the fence, baffling him. They discover Jimmy's phone with a video showing him being kidnapped by a gorilla-like creature.

As they venture further into the restricted zone, they find damaged military equipment and a sign bearing the name "Cadmus." Lois remembers hearing about Cadmus and Area 52. Watching one of Jimmy's videos referencing Cadmus, they regret their neglect of him. Robots suddenly attack them, and Clark's attempts to fight them are futile. When the robots merge into a larger one, Clark and Lois escape but inadvertently activate a laser fence, causing an explosion. Though Clark sustains minor injuries, they continue their search.

Meanwhile, Jimmy wakes up in a laboratory where he's interrogated by the Brain and Monsieur Mallah. The Brain assumes Jimmy is a spy but is surprised when Mallah welcomes Jimmy into their secret lab, Cadmus. Mallah shares that they were members of Cadmus, a secretive government organization that experimented with alien tech, until Task Force X targeted them. They discuss their past, including an experiment with a black hole. Mallah reveals they've been working to perfect the black hole into a wormhole to alternate dimensions, hoping to find acceptance. Jimmy discovers a room with a black hole, and Mallah explains their plan to stabilize it.

Clark and Lois eventually reach Cadmus' lab, where they're confronted by the Brain and Mallah, but Jimmy diffuses the tension by revealing he's known Clark's secret since freshman year. As they're attacked by robots identified as O.M.A.C.s, Jimmy questions why Clark didn't confide in him. Clark admits he was afraid of being treated differently and alienated by his friends. Lois and Jimmy reassure Clark, saying they value him for who he is and want him to be open with them. Mallah uses the black hole to dispose of the robots, inadvertently discovering that Cadmus' technology reacts to Clark's presence. Clark decides to stay and fight to create a better world for his friends, while the Brain and Mallah venture into the alternate dimension they've created.

Later, the General visits the remnants of Cadmus with the disfigured Dr. Ivo, seeking his help to harness Cadmus' technology to eliminate Superman, who is now a target for Task Force X and its leader.

Kiss Kiss Fall in Portal[]

Clark decides to be completely honest with Lois and Jimmy, taking them to the mysterious platform buried beneath his parents' farm, which Jimmy deduces is a component of a spaceship. While Jimmy explores the ship's obelisks, Clark asks Lois out on a date to make amends for lying to her. The next day, Jimmy, uneasy with Clark's date preparations, visits Lois, only to find her planning an investigation into Clark's past. Grateful for Clark's constant help, she intends to help him uncover his origins.

While Lois and Jimmy are away, Clark is visited by Mr. Mxyzptlk, an interdimensional peacekeeper who knows Clark is Superman. Mxyzptlk reveals that Lois is in danger, leading Superman to agree to help. They end up in a room where Mxyzptlk's powers weaken, and Mxyzptlk tricks Superman into helping him rob the room, revealing that Lois was never in danger. Mxyzptlk then transports them to another dimension, leaving Superman puzzled and concerned for Lois.

As Lois and Jimmy make an unexpected alliance with alternate versions of Lois Lane from the League of Lois Lanes, they learn about their mission to capture Mxyzptlk. The League tracks Mxyzptlk to Earth-12, suspecting Superman's involvement in his plans. However, when they confront Superman, they end up harming him, and Mxyzptlk escapes. Lois secretly agrees to go with Mxyzptlk to the League's headquarters to uncover their secrets about Superman. They discover a keycard and an orb containing images of alternate Supermen, some of whom are evil. Mxyzptlk escapes again, leaving Lois with the green crystal contained in the orb, hinting at a deeper mystery.

Zero Day (Parts 1 and 2)[]

At a government facility, the General releases criminals captured by Task Force X, shocking them into obedience. He assigns them a special mission. Superman develops a new superpower, super-hearing, and uses it to monitor the city, helping people and fighting crime relentlessly. He pushes himself to exhaustion, even drinking coffee to stay active. After leaving flowers at Lois's office, he discovers the General's dangerous intentions through intercepted words.

Despite his fatigue, Superman continues his search, chasing a criminal named Mist. His exhaustion causes him to make a mistake, damaging a truck while saving Mist. People are shocked by this, and Superman pushes on, determined to find the General. At the Daily Planet, Lois receives flowers from Superman but becomes upset when star reporter Vicki Vale wants to write a negative article about Superman. Vicki interviews an embittered former AmazoTech employee who criticizes Superman for the company's downfall. Lois and Jimmy fail to protect Superman's reputation.

Concerned for Superman's well-being, Lois and Jimmy contact Clark, who promises to make things right but continues his search for the General. They discover Vicki used them to get a story for the Gotham Gazette. Superman confronts Mist, leading to an ambush by the new Task Force X, who capture him and depart Metropolis. Lois and Jimmy are left in shock. Lois and Jimmy, with the help of the Newskid Legion, are relentlessly searching for Superman in Metropolis after his capture by Task Force X. Despite their efforts, they remain clueless about his whereabouts. Lois feels guilty for hurting Clark's feelings when he needed her support, but Jimmy assures her that they will find him.

Meanwhile, Superman is imprisoned at Task Force X's secret base, subjected to interrogation by the General. The General demands information about an impending alien invasion, but Superman is genuinely unaware of it. The General reveals that he was present during a past invasion event called Zero Day, where he and Amanda Waller saw an alien leader in a red cape. Sam, now the General, has been preparing Earth for the next invasion, forming Task Force X and adapting alien weapons for human use. He interrogates Superman, expecting answers.

Sam, now doubting their mission, confides in Waller and expresses his reluctance to hand Superman over to Ivo for further questioning. Waller is willing to go to extreme lengths to extract information from Superman, which Sam disagrees with. Task Force X members, including Ivo, are imprisoned again. Livewire takes advantage of a security lapse, leading to their escape. Ivo reclaims his Parasite armor and confronts Superman, who refuses to fight, believing he's a weapon of mass destruction sent to conquer Earth.

Ivo attacks Superman, growing in size as he absorbs energy from the city's electricity grid. To help Superman, Jimmy broadcasts a Flamebird video, rallying Metropolis to support their hero by shutting down electrical devices to weaken Parasite. The city complies, Parasite weakens, and Superman gains X-ray vision to separate Ivo from the armor.

Superman returns to the Daily Planet, shares a passionate kiss with Lois, and Jimmy stumbles upon "File X," revealing an image of an evil alternate-universe Superman. At Task Force X's base, Waller is promoted to commanding officer, tasked with eliminating Superman. Sam is assigned to track and kill Superman using the Omega Cannon, the last weapon created by Ivo.

Heart of the Fathers[]

Clark has a nightmare in which Nemesis Omega kills Lois and Jimmy and devastates Earth. Omega then reveals himself with Clark's face, horrifying Clark. He awakens and returns to the ship that brought him to Earth. Inside the ship, he confronts Jor-El, expressing his determination to protect Earth if Krypton attempts to conquer it again. Their communication is hindered by a language barrier, and Clark leaves the ship.

Later, Clark and Lois prepare for Thanksgiving in Smallville, considering seeking help from the General, who previously tried to kill Clark. At the Daily Planet, they discover they've been promoted. Clark and Lois leave work early to celebrate with the Kent family. Sam, Lois' father, arrives at the Kent house, revealing himself as the General. While Jimmy tries to address the issue of secrets within their group, a mysterious sphere containing File X is uncovered. It reveals a hologram of an evil Superman from an alternate universe. Clark is exposed to a green crystal from the sphere, causing him distress.

The ship detects the crystal and deploys robots across the Kent farm. Sam believes the invaders from Zero Day have returned, requesting assistance from Task Force X. Lois discovers that Sam is the General who tried to kill Superman and goes to help him. Jimmy realizes the robots are vulnerable to the green crystal. Superman uses the crystal to destroy the ship's heart, closing the portal but getting trapped. His father, through a hologram, instructs him to live. The ship is destroyed, and Superman is heavily injured. Sam tries to shoot him but is stopped by Lois, who defends Superman as a hero. Later, they celebrate Thanksgiving, and Jimmy reveals his wealth from selling Flamebird to the Daily Planet. Meanwhile, in space, Brainiac and a Kryptonian warrior plan Earth's conquest despite its resistance.
