Whatever life holds in store for me, I will never forget these words: "With great power comes great responsibility."

Manchester Black: You think that's it? It's not over, you poncy twit. If you think I'll just go to jail and rot, you're living in a dream world!
Superman: Good. Dreams save us. Dreams lift us up and transform us into something better. And on my soul, I swear that until my dream of a world where dignity, honor and justice are the reality we all share, I'll never stop fighting. Ever.

Clark Kent (born Kal-El) better known as Superman, is the titular main protagonist of the 2012 animated movie Superman vs. The Elite. Like most versions of the character, he's an alien superhero who operates on Metropolis. He eventually ends up clashing heads with The Elite, a group of super-powered anti-heroes who end up gaining the respect of the citizens of Metropolis due to their violent and lethal crime fighting methods, causing Superman to start doubting his place in the world.
He's voiced by George Newbern, who also portrayed the DC Animated Universe and Injustice incarnations of Superman.
First, I don't believe that the world is broken. Because when we say the world, we're really talking about people. It's always been my belief that people, at their core, are good. The grace of mankind is everywhere. You just have to open your eyes. Humanity has a limitless potential for good.
„
~ Superman's speech at the United Nations
Much like his original counterpart, Superman is a honorable, righteous and brave superhero who, despire possessing god-like powers, utilizes them for the good of mankind and to save and help people in need. He has an immense love and care for humanity and believes that people, at their core, are good. It's for this reason that he also has a strong moral opposition to killing his enemies, no matter how evil they are, as he doesn't see himself as judge, jury and executioner and would rather leave them to the authorities.
Because of his kind nature, Superman usually tries his best to solve the conflicts he sees through peaceful means and will also occasionally try to reason with his enemies in hopes of making them change their minds. He goes as far as even helping and assist those he disagrees with, showing a sense of pragmatism for the greater good.

They saw the ugliness of violence as a solution and it frightened them. It frightened me too when I decided to cross that line and do what you do. It's so easy. Anger, vengeance. Luckily, I'm not you. And I never will be.
