Susumu Hori is the main protagonist in the Mr. Driller series. He is the son of Taizo Hori (a.k.a. Dig Dug) and Toby Masuyo. He is also the younger brother of Ataru Hori, the older brother of Taiyo Hori, and the rival of Anna Hottenmeyer. He teams up with his friends and family (with the exeption of the two others) to help out to drill the blocks in various areas in the world.
Pac-Man World Rally[]
Susumu appeared as an unlockable character in the PSP version of Pac-Man World Rally. He rides on a drill bike with his dog Puchi on the side cart.

- Hyper Electromagnetic Drill: A high-tech drill developed by Dr. Z using applied hyper electromagnetic theory. It spins for ages on little energy.
- Dri-Suit: A high-tech driller outfit with exceptional resistance to pressure and heat. The "Drillmet" supplies oxygen and acts as an automatic translator.
