Everyone gets help from someone else at some point in their lives. So someday, you should help someone too.
~ Suzuha Amane

Suzuha Amane is a supporting character from the visual novel and anime series Steins;Gate. She works as a part-time worker at the Braun Tubes Workshop claiming that she like Braun Tube (CRT) TVs as her reason. She usually slacks off from the job and maintains her bicycle since there is not much customers visiting the shop.

She is voiced by Yukari Tamura in the Japanese version and Cherami Leigh in the English version.

Overview

Okabe calls her Part-Time Warrior. She usually has a cheery demeanor but quickly changes her mood into a serious one if the situation requires it. She is reluctant to ask anyone help and usually inserts complex words not usually use in normal daily conversation when speaking to others.

It is later revealed that she was John Titor who came from 2036 to retrieve an IBN 5100 in 1975 and give it to the Future Gadget Lab in the present time (2010) so that they can hack SERN and prevent a dystopia. Okabe and the gang later helps Suzuha find her father which turned to be Daru.

Appearance

Suzuha's physical attributes include pale toned skin, long brown hair and a slim profile. Her outfit consists of a blue jacket, a sweater, black bloomers and white socks. She usually ties her hair into two braids.

Personality

A friendly, athletic girl who loves cycling and works part-time at the Braun Tube Workshop below the lab. Suzuha often comes across as overly familiar, but in truth she maintains a carefully measured distance from everyone. When something captures her interest, however, Suzuha's personality changes dramatically and she becomes aggressive and relentless, meaning she is a really straight type of person. She is also perceptive, as shown in her ending when she realized that Rintarou was time leaping.

Suzuha dislikes asking others for help, and will not reveal her own problems to anyone unless absolutely necessary. She also has a tendency to use uncommon words in casual conversation, possibly on purpose. She easily got along with most members of the Future Gadget Laboratory, with the exception of Kurisu, though this was due to the fact that she was the one who perfected SERN's time machine in Suzuha's timeline.

Suzuha claimed to work with Mr. Braun because of her interest in Braun Tube, though she constantly slacks off by maintaining her bicycle whenever her boss is not around, much to his endless frustration and anger.
