Suzumi Morizuki (守月スズミ in Japanese) is one of the characters in the 2021 roleplay game Blue Archive who studies in Trinity General School and wields an Assault Rifle, and is one of the characters of the 2024 Anime Adaptation of the same name. She is a member of the Trinity Vigilante Crew, an unofficial club whose members are volunteers in upholding justice. Despite there not being a hierarchy in the club, Suzumi is considered as quite an influential figure in the club.
A regular highschool girl who enjoys ensuring the safety of the students around Trinity. She patrols around the school frequently, in search of any delinquents who dare cause trouble around the area. She would often utilize her flashbangs to stop her enemies while minimalizing their physical injuries, hence why she is given the nickname "Flashbang of Trinity." One of her preferred methods of punishing these delinquents is to tie them up on a pillar and forcing them to listen to "Baby" by Austin Dieber on repeat. Her frequent subduing of troublemakers, accompanied by her near-constant stern expression, caused her to be viewed as a cold girl, when in reality, she is still a normal girl who likes girly things.
Trivia[]
For her EX-Skill, Suzumi uses an M84 Stun Grenade.
"Baby" by Austin Dieber is a reference to the song "Baby" by Justin Bieber which was memed for being one of the most disliked songs that he made. Funnily enough, due to this meme being so old, the delinquents also insulted her because of the song being so old.
Originally, her gun's handguard was inscribed with the quote "Vanitas Vanitatum, et Omnia Vanitas"—a quote that circulates constantly around Arius, a school that broke off of Trinity. This caused players to speculate whether or not Suzumi belonged from Arius.
The quote itself is Latin for Ecclesiastes 12:8: "Vanity of vanities, saith the preacher; all is vanity."
