Sylphiette is one of the deuteragonist of the adventurer, fantasy, isekai light novel, manga and anime series Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation. She is a childhood friend-turned-first wife of Rudeus Greyrat, who saved her from bullies with his magic. After the Teleportation Incident, she was found and recruited as Princess Ariel's personal bodyguard under the alias Fitts.
After the reunion with Rudeus, she ended up married with him and conceived two children: Lucy and Sieghart Saladin.
She voiced by Ai Kayano in Japanese and by Emily Neves in English.
Appearance[]
During her childhood with Rudeus, she had short green, emerald hair, auburn eyes, and a white robe with her white hood on her head. Because of her short hair, Rudeus realized that she was a boy. After the teleportation arc, her hair would become white, due to the strong absorption of mana. As she grows up, she gets a more feminine body, but with the clothes she wears still makes her look masculine for Ariel's bodyguard. As her marriage with Rudeus, she starts wearing more feminine dresses.
Personality[]
She appears to be a very shy girl upon being saved by Rudeus after she was bullied and would break down to tears if Rudeus leave her alone. After becoming Princess Ariel’s bodyguard under the name of Fitts, she would act more quiet, cold, and confident. After reuniting with Rudeus not knowing who she was, her personality would change alot, becoming more helpful and knowledgeable to Rudeus. However, she was still unconfident about to reveal her true identity to Rudeus. After getting married with Rudeus, she would get jealous because of his two other wives even though she is not usual this type of individual.
Background[]
She first appears in the story as a small girl being bullied by three boys who threw muds at her, before being saved by Rudeus who befriend with her, believing that she is a boy. Sylphy spents time spends more and more times with her while being taught by him how to write and read,mathematics, utility of magic, such as fire, wind, and water. magic. Rudeus also took care of his clothes. However, Sylphy was too shy to take of her clothes on day as they took a bath, due not wanting Rudeus to know that she is apparently a female. This lead Rudeus to do it himself a few seconds later, revealing her private parts. After Rudeus finds out the truth about Sylphy's gender, she brokes down in tears and wouldn’t want to meet Rudeus for a few days, until she would forgive him. Sometime after, Sylphy sees Rudeus being tied up by his father, which he tries attack Paul with voiceless midway ranked magic, but Paul dodges it easily, which suprises him of what Rudeus has taught him. Her father, Law learns this and suggests her to train like Rudeus does with his body every day, which she gladly accepted. A few days later, she would ask Rudeus’s mother where Rudeus went, who refuses to answer her, but would teaches her Healing magic and learn that she can use voiceless incantation with healing together as she is good at it. During the day of Rudeus’s 10th birthday, she would craft pendant made out of wood that serve as a good luck charm that is supposed to be delivered to Rudeus until the Teleportation Incident occured.

- She has a nickname Luffy, comprised of the three syllabes after the first syllabe of her name, a reference to the main protagonist of One Piece of the same name.
- Sylphiette has green hairs because having Laplace Factor, which is a rare and unique trait in the series with an only small percentage of people are born with it.
