On the way, Trevor encounters the Cyclops and defeats him, freeing Sypha. The player may take her along as a character who can be swapped with Trevor or leave her, though if Trevor has Grant Dynasty he will have to let him go to continue with Sypha. Additionally, if the player encounters Alucard with Sypha, they may let go of Sypha and take Alucard instead. If the player decides to stay with Sypha while defeating Dracula, the game will give you this message as Dracula's castle is destroyed: "Syfa the Vampire Killer has had a bad life but now since she's met Trevor she's beginning to feel more comfortable about herself."
