Taizo Tachibana is the tritagonist of the 2001 Tokusatsu film Godzilla, Mothra, King Ghidorah: Giant Monsters All-Out Attack. He is the admiral of the JSDF and the father of Yuri Tachibana.
He is portrayed Ryudo Uzaki.
History[]
As a child, he lost his parents during the original Godzilla’s rampage in 1954, an event that haunted him for the rest of his life. In the present, day he served as an admiral for the JSDF where he began discussing the possibility of Godzilla possibly returning after footage showed was caught of him. Although people weren’t sure, he encouraged them to be prepared for the worst possible scenario.
Eventually, his daughter Yuri Tachibana informed three guardian monsters Baragon, Mothra, and King Ghidorah would rise up to stop Godzilla from destroying Japan. Although skeptical at first, he eventually realized its truth once Godzilla and Baragon started arriving on the mainline.
Following Baragon’s defeat, he created a plan to help Mothra and King Ghidorah stop Godzilla by using the D-03 missiles.
