Takaki Uno is a member of Tekkadan and one a major protagonist of Mobile Suit Gundam IRON-BLOODED ORPHANS.
He is voiced by Kōhei Amasaki in the original Japanese version and by Zach Aguilar in the English dub (who also voices Tanjiro Kamado in Demon Slayer, Aether in Genshin Impact, Genos in One Punch Man, Byleth Eisner in Fire Emblem: Three Houses, Koichi Hirose in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, Arthur Pendragon in The Seven Deadly Sins, and Riku in Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon).
History[]
Takaki Uno was originally a member of the Chryse Guard Security Third Group, which was comprised mainly of child soldiers and Human Debris. Following an attack by Gjallarhorn, Takaki and the rest of the Third Group staged a revolt against the adults of the company and took it over, renaming it Tekkadan.
Following the success of the mission to escort Kudelia Aina Bernstein to Earth, Takaki became a member of Tekkadan's newly established Earth Branch. After a bombing left Arbrau Prime Minister Makanai and Tekkadan Earth Branch leader Chad Chaden in comas, Takaki became the acting leader of the Earth Branch. He was deceived by Galan Mossa into waging a guerrilla war against the Strategic Alliance, but learned the truth about Galan's deception once Orga Itsuka and the rest of Tekkadan's main branch landed on Earth. Tragically, this was only after Takaki's close friend Aston Altland had died in the fighting.
Takaki later personally executed Radice Riloto, who had conspired with Galan to orchestrate the bombing and wage war against the Strategic Alliance Union.
Following this, Takaki decided to quit Tekkadan to spend more time with his sister, Fuka, in Edmonton, Alberta. He later reappeared as an assistant to Makanai when the members of Tekkadan went to him to get new identities. Following Makanai's passing, Takaki served as assistant to Arbrau's new Prime Minister, Lasker Alesi.
