Takeru Takaishi (T.K. Takaishi) is one of the main protagonists of reboot anime Digimon Adventure:.

He is voiced by Megumi Han in Japanese and Corina Boettger in English.

Appearance[]

He looks like his original counterpart. Unlike original T.K., he wears new clothes & sneakers. But he’s still the same sweet & innocent little boy. But with more spirit.

History[]

Despite knowing from Koshiro that the missile's target is Tokyo, both Taichi and Yamato are willing to keep fighting, and when their younger siblings Hikari and Takeru come in contact with a mysterious power, both Greymon and Garurumon fuse into Omnimon.

Taichi learns from Yamato that his younger brother Takeru Takaishi lives in Shibuya and they must defeat enemy to ensure his safety. Taichi and Yamato confront the enemy by themselves until feathers fall to the sky for Takeru and Hikari, and both Agumon and Gabumon merge into Omnimon once more.

In the original he wore a Collared shirt with long sleeves. In the Reboot he wears a collarless shirt with short sleeves.
Compared to the original, the reboot version is more spunky & high spirited. The reboot version may shed some tears & cry a little bit from time to time, but he always faces what he’s afraid of.
- In the 25th episode “Dive to the Next Ocean”, the tears he was showing were both tears of fear & tears of joy.
From time to time TK is seen sweating through most of the episodes of the Reboot of Digimon. Yet he wasn’t worried about his body being sweaty & stinky though his adventures in the digital world. Especially at his feet.
Unlike the original version, He hasn’t worn a backpack throughout the Reboot. Except in the final episode where he hides Patamon to see if Matt & Gabomon arrived to visit.
