Takuma Momozuka (original name: Takuma Momotsuka) is the main protagonist in the 2022 videogame Digimon Survive. He is a 2nd-year middle school student who during a camping trip, he and his friends ended in the Kemonogami world where he has to survive and return to the Real World. His Kemonogami partner is Agumon. He is voiced by the voice actor Kōhei Amasaki.

A normal junior high-schooler, from a normal family. One day, he and his friends joined a camping field trip. But a mysterious force took him away, and threw him into another dimension.
Personality[]
Before the game events, Takuma had a carefree and unmotivated personality, joining the camping trip with apathy. Depending the game's decisions reflected in Agumon's evolution route and the relationship with his friends, Takuma will be a optimist supporter who cares about his friends mental stability, such as the Ryo's case, a careful protector who wants to end his conflicts by peaceful manners, an impulsive youngster or a cowardly boy. Even that, he shows he cares deeply about his mother answering her phone call with tears, after his decision to going back to Kemonogami world.

Before Digimon Survive[]
“The mountain air will do you good,” claimed Takuma’s mom, leading him to join the camping trip. The boy knew well that he’d be doing something significant by studying history in a place far from the city, but in all honestly he lacked any real motivation to do so. This was his attitude, for better or worse. He lacked any strong feelings about the task—not caring enough to even consider it a pain. “Just get through a few days of the program, and I’ll be back to my old life.” With this mentality, Takuma headed for the camp. - Takuma's Reason for Joining.
At the beginning of the game, he and his fellow friends were met Digimon and the rest of the Digimons for the first time. He and Falcomon fought and defeated Gotsumons so easily in the first battle for the first time. They go to an old school that is old like a haunted house. At one night, human friends were caught by the horde of the Spider Digimons: Dokugumon. With Takuma's help, Agumon managed to evolve into any champion forms depend on the player's choices for the feelings. Afer the battle, he and Agumon saved them for good.

Chapter 1[]

Chapter 2[]
At the next day, he and the heroes woke up themselves, believing a new hope can come. Together, he and the gang managed to find Miyuki and and Haru. They talk to together about what had happened. Suddenly, he and the gang find out the truth about the mysteroius fog. On the start of a new mission, he and the gang encountererd Gazimons. During the start of the fight, Takuma and the gang are amazed that Falcomon managed to evolve into Diatrymon for the first time. After Gazimons were defeated, he and the gang managed to find the professor, Shuuji, and Saki just before the encounter with Fangmon. Suddenly, he and the gang managed to defeat Fangmon for good. After the fight, he and the gang managed to go back home waiting for another mission.
Chapter 3[]
On the next mission to meet Kaito before finding Miu, he and the gang managed to spend time on each other. Suddenly, Takuma walks to Lopmon if Lopmon feels scared and upset. At the start of another mission, he and the gang met a woman (Arukenimon) and Kaito and Dracmon. When choice is made, he and Agumon decide to have a friendly meeting with Kaito and Dracmon for the first time. Together, they fight the hordes of Dokugumon before defeating Arukenimon. Next, they confront Cyclonemon, who managed to scare and hurt Ryo all along. They managed defeat Cyclonemon. Ryo and Kunemon are dead, he and the gang had mourned their deaths. They can now move forward for another mission. In truthful route, Agumon and the gang were amazed that Ryo and Kunemon managed to survive; upon the successful rescue, he and the gang celebrate that Ryo and Kunemon had returned alive and well.
Chapter 4[]
When Piedmon's plan has been prepared for the altar, he and the gang can embark on their difficult journey to find the little sister to Kaito, who had gone missing and astray few days ago. So, he and the gang arrive at the mysterious amusement park where no one can attend fun. Suddenly, they encountered three Digimons: Biyomon, Palmon, and Patamon under the orders of the little queen. Arrived at the castle, he and the gang were trapped. So they encounter Jijimon, who guides the heroes escape imprisonment. When Kaito and Mia are reunited, the heroes encountered Monzaemon and Garurumon (champion form of Gabumon), who are following the orders of Piedmon and attacking the three innocent Digimons. Syakomon managed to evolve into Sheldon for the first time. Suddenly, the heroes are victorious and Monzaemon got defeated, which drove Garurumon to retreat. In truthful route, Takuma and the gang managed to save Rio and Kunemon after the rescue was successful, the heroes went to park the mysterious amusement park where no one can attend fun. Suddenly, they encountered three Digimons: Biyomon, Palmon, and Patamon under the orders of the little queen. Kunemon evolved into Flymon to defeat three of them before the encounter with Monzaemon and Garurumon.
