I wouldn't say Ahsoka is retired. She hasn't come back to the order yet but she implied that she would after some soul-searching. Even if she doesn't come back to the order itself, she would still help the war against the separatists somehow or at the very least, help other people in some manner.

I think Ahsoka has threatened, killed, and done enough morally-questionable things to be an anti-hero.
