Task Force Agila is a counter-terrorist group who is the main protagonistic faction in the TV Series: FPJ's Ang Probinsyano throughout the Crime and Corruption arc. the team founded by all surviving members of Pulang Araw/Vendetta, all Cardo's police allies, and Major Basco's allies.
About[]
After reclaiming the presidency and granting pardon to the members of the vigilante group, Vendetta, President Oscar Hidalgo assigned most of them, alongside some female officials from CIDG, to become a member of a newly-formed Presidential Anti-Crime Task Force later known as Task Force Agila in order for them to continue their quest to eliminate crime and corruption in the country.
The task force is composed of 2 groups—Opeña's (main) group and Basco's (partner) group. Opeña's group is the core group which lead the execution of all the missions assigned, formerly lead by PMaj. Romero until her death. Basco's group assists the task force mainly on intelligence gathering and planning.
During missions, they are assisted by CIDG officers. They directly receive missions from President Oscar Hidalgo through PMGen. Manuel G. Dela Cruz and former Presidential Security Adviser Sec. Delfin S. Borja.
The Task Force and Lucas Catapang soon finds the real Oscar Hidalgo in the woods with Aurora, Ambo and Elizabeth who then brings them on the Guillermo's rest house where they recuperated and learned of Cardo's escape and recovery following the battle with Lito Valmoria at the hospital before being rescued by Ramona and her villagers. They soon rescued Ricardo Dalisay (who returns after Lito Valmoria's death) from Armando Silang, but General Borja and Lucas are killed in the process and Aurora was wounded during the confrontation with Lolita. Ricardo manages to kill Samuel Catapang in revenge of poisoning his group earlier using Ramona's bolo knife (which have given to him by her after defeating the Black Ops in the woods) by slashing and stabbing him. However Armando and Lolita escaped and are rescued by Albert De Vela and the remnants of the Black Ops and Ricardo proceed to burn down Armando's house. They returned back to Guillermo's rest house and cremates Gen. Borja.
After Oscar Hidalgo exposed Lily and Renato's crimes to the whole country and world. The Task Force is reinstated and cleared and has Albert De Vela and the Black Ops removed from the service for their actions and branded as traitors along with Lily, Renato, Arturo Padua, Armando and Lolita. Unfortunately Lily, Albert, Armando, Lolita and the remnants of the Black Ops escaped the palace before Oscar, Ambo, Camilo Edades and the troops arrive to arrest them (Renato and Arturo having aided by Eduardo Guillermo earlier already fled into a hideout in the woods owned by Lucio Santanar). Renato later betrays Arturo and blows him up with C-4 explosives.
Oscar Hidalgo and The Task Force soon find Lily in her new hideout in Tierra Del Diablo and proceed to massacre her men, while Lolita was killed by Diana Dumaguit and Roxanne in the name for General Borja and Lucas whom both was killed by her and Armando, Albert De Vela was killed by Marsial Matero when he blows Lily's helicopter to bits while trying to escape and Armando was killed by an enraged Ricardo Dalisay by tearing both his arms off and running him over using their armoured vehicles. Lily was finally captured by Oscar Hidalgo but she breaks free and hold him hostage at gunpoint but was soon killed by the group and saving Oscar.
Ricardo Dalisay is the sole surviving member of the Original Task Force Agila, was wounded (after killing Lucio Santanar who was really responsible for his son's death) and most of his members are killed (Jerome and Rigor are accidentally killed by Ramil and Patrick due to their disguise to fool the rebels) at the hands of the most dangerous wanted fugitive Renato Hipolito who was then immediately brutally slaughtered along with his remaining rebels by an enraged Oscar Hidalgo after the latter wounded the former avenging the group and Anton Del Mundo and Eduardo Guillermo was also killed by a dying Basco.
A memorial funeral service is been held for the Original Task Force Agila which was attended by Aurora, Ambo, Elizabeth, Camilo Edades and others relatives and friends including former member Amir Marquez, Wangbu, Domengsu, Bubbles and Bong, while Cardo was still recuperating from his wounds at the hospital and is informed by his family that Lola Flora had passed away from an unknown illness. Shortly after recuperating, receiving promotion to Police major, Ricardo decides to serve at Botolan since he is very far away from his family a long time, while Oscar and Aurora married thus becoming the new first lady. Ricardo Dalisay finds Mara who turned out to be alive, after being thrown into the sea by Armando.
