Tatsu Yamashiro, alias Katana, is a supporting character in the tv series, Arrow. She is a vigilante and ally of Oliver Queen.

Season Three[]
Tatsu lived as the vigilante, Katana. When Oliver was defeated by Ra's al Ghul in a deadth match, Maseo secretly brings Oliver to Katana's cottage in order to save him.
Later on, Oliver orderd Malcolm Merlyn to recruit Tatsu to help stop Ra's in planning to unleash the Alpha-Omega on Starling City. She meets up with members of Oliver's team, John, Laurel, Felcity, and Ray to help despite how they at first didn't trust her like they didn't trust Merlyn. When she, Merlyn, and Team Arrow arrived in Nanda Parbat, they were ambushed and surrounded by the League of Assassins. Tatsu finds herself forced in a duel with her former husband, Maseo, now known as Sarab. She defeated and killed him but afterwards sang a song to her Maseo as he died in her arms stating he is now free, which she broke down in tears afterwards.
Eventually, they were captured and Ra's ordered them all to be locked up in a room. But while Tatsu was being transferred, Flah came to the rescue, for Oliver and Merlyn has called him too. He saved Tatsu first and freed the others from the room before he parted ways casue he is in the middle of a battle against his hidden enemy, Eobard Thawne. Laurel asks Tatsu to come with them back to Star City, but Tatsu declines for she has to go back to her own life.
Season Eight[]
Tatsu returns and saves Oliver and John Diggle from members of rival group of the Chinese Triad called the Shu gang. She bought them both to her hideout, and there, she learned of Oliver's mission given by Mar Novu to look for a scientist named Dr. Robert Wong. Tatsu seems to recognize Mar Novu due to being a former member of the Crescent Order in Japan.
Together they defeat China White and her squadron in order to get the re-created Alpha-Omega virus.
