~ Tatsuo Shinada to Daigo Dojima.
Tatsuo Shinada is one of the four main protagonists (alongside Kazuma Kiryu, Shun Akiyama, and Taiga Saejima) of Yakuza 5, the fifth main installment of the Yakuza Saga in SEGA's Like a Dragon (Ryū ga Gotoku, formerly known as Yakuza in the west) franchise.
Shinada was once an infamous batter for the Nagoya Wyverns, who was accused of cheating and as a result, was kicked out of the team. Years later, he became a poor and washed-up nightlife journalist, who later got caught up in a conspiracy involving the Tojo Clan. He is also later revealed to be a former classmate of Daigo Dojima, the Fourth Chairman of the Tojo Clan.
He was voiced by Toshiyuki Morikawa, who's best known for his role as Julius Novachrono in Black Clover, Kagaya Ubuyashiki in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, Kyosuke Munakata in Danganronpa 3, and Paul Greyrat in Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation.
