Theodore "Ted" Wiggins is the protagonist of the film adaptation of Dr. Seuss' The Lorax. He is an idealistic 12-year-old boy who intends to find the one thing that will win the affection of Audrey, the love of his life. He is named after Dr. Seuss's real name, Theodor Seuss Geisel. He repeatedly visits the The Once-Ler and has to plant the last seed ever.
He was voiced by Zac Efron, who also played Troy Bolton from the High School Musical series
Ted is 4 foot and 6 inches (137 cm). He is a 12-year old boy and he wears an orange shirt with red stripes with gray sleeves and he wears blue jeans combined with black Converse sneakers with a labeling that says Gru's Shoes and has a picture of a minion with white laces and black covering. He has fair skin, black hair, and brown eyes.
- Ted is named after Dr. Seuss himself (Theodore Seuss Giesel) and Audrey is named after his wife.
- Ted Wiggins is the second human protagonist in a Illumination film, after Gru from Despicable Me.
