Theodore Long is a retired recurring wrestler, General Manager in WWE series, in 2009, he starts as a minor antagonist and later reformed, after he realizes his mistake at CM Punk for costing The Undertaker the World Heavyweight title, he becomes reformed character and serves as the anti-heroic protagonist.
He first debut in WCW as a minor manager, he was hired by Vince McMahon in 2004 after Kurt Angle got fired from his job as the General Manager.
Teddy Long appeared and assumes his place as General Manager. He hates Eric Bischoff and in 2011, he hates Vickie Guerrero and fires her from her job similiar that how Vince McMahon fires the employees for the misdeeds or breaking a rule in WWE.
In 2009, during the match between The Undertaker and Batista for the World Heavyweight title, Teddy arrives and tells Batista that the match restarts again because Batista delivered a low blow while the referee was obstructed. After this, Batista tries to beat up The Undertaker, then The Undertaker defeats Batista to defend his title, thus makes Teddy impressive.
In 2011, Teddy Long began to have enough of Vickie Guerrero who was very mean to Edge, Teddy then fires Vickie from her job, just like Vince McMahon before him, Teddy is described as a serious, strict and overprotective business man, but kind and gentle towards his employees including his boss Vince McMahon.
In 2012, he wants to have the BBQ grill on fire, so Kane sets the grill on fire to impress Teddy and his beloved employees.
Teddy also appeared in Wrestlemania 21 game as an non-playable character, in Smackdown vs. Raw 2006, he was seriously injured by a car, the wrestlers meet Teddy before his accident, so they work together to find the traitor responsable for this accident.
In WWE Series, Teddy refers the wrestlers as "Playa" as a nickname in all of the appearences of the shows.
