Tego Leo is a supporting character of the Fast and Furious franchise.

He's a street racer from the Dominican Republic and the friend of Rico Santos. He's also a member of Dominic Toretto and Letty Ortiz's crew, who was driven by his desire to help his community out with his criminal activity. Tego and his friend, Rico, come to the aid of Dominic when he is framed by Hernan Reyes for the death of three DEA agents, and help steal $100 million to start new lives. At the behest of Dominic, Tego and Rico aided in the rescue of Brian Marcos, who is the son of Elena Neves and Dominic Toretto, when he was kidnapped by the notorious cyberterrorist, Cipher.

He was portrayed by Tego Calderón.

Biography

Tego Leo is a friend of Toretto in the beginning of Fast & Furious. At the end of the film he rides with Santos to get Dominic out of the prison bus.

During the events of Fast Five, he is part of Dominic's crew assisting with the heist in Rio de Janeiro. Afterwards, Tego and his friend Rico were last seen in a casino in Monte in Fast & Furious 6 and is instrumental in stopping Mose Jakande in Furious 7.

In The Fate of the Furious, Tego and Rico are part of the elaborate deception pulled off to fake Deckard Shaw's death. The two load Deckard onto the ambulance to take him to the hospital.

Abilities

• Expert Drivers: Much like Santos, he is an expert street racer.
• Expert Handyman: He and Santos are skilled handyman since Dom and his crew often needs the duo to drill and dig through wall in many jobs.
• Cooking: Leo has shown some level of culinary skill but his foods are seen as bad by the crew and even Santos. Roman even stated that he should attend cooking lesson.

Leo maintains a buoyant and optimistic attitude, even in the face of danger. He often brings a light-hearted and jovial energy to the group, spreading positivity and encouraging others to remain hopeful. Additionally, he was driven by his desire to help his community out with his criminal activity.
